Woman’s World Magazine’s Describes In-Home Body Wrap Recipe

February 16, 2011
By

(PRWEB) May 23, 2005

In a recent Woman’s World Magazine entitled “Hollywood’s hot new FAT-MELTING BODY WRAP! Try it at home!”, three natural ingredients to create a simple in-home body wrap were listed. The articled explained that you can do your own Spa body wrap in the comfort of your own home inexpensively.

Body wraps have been offered for years by health spas, fitness spas and franchised facilities. Some reported spending as much as $ 150 for this treatment. After a wrap, spa clients have reported that their skin felt softer, their skin felt tighter, experienced a diminished appearance of cellulite and even a loss of inches. Results varied for each person.

Danielle Sims of WrapYourselfSlim.com has been an advocate of making simple body wrap formulas at home for over 4 years. She provides an ebook titled “Wrap Yourself Slim: Body Wraps Exposed” which contains recipes, instructions, and other supporting information to successfully acheive a spa-style body wrap. The book has been available online since October 2000 and has been very popular among health enthusiasts and “do-it-yourselfers”.

Danielle says:

“It’s wonderful that more and more, people are realizing that they can acheive the same spa body wrap inexpensively at home with a minimum of three simple ingredients. When I first came out with my book in 2000, it was not that well known. Now we are seeing articles in mainstream magazines.”

About ten years ago, Danielle explored her library of alternative health, herbal books, and aromatherapy books and created a blueprint for making her own body wrap formulas. She discovered that some of the natural supplements on the market possessed the same benefits as the body wrap formulas.

“I have always enjoyed creatin and preparing my own cosmetics, lotions, and potions so this was just one more thing that I wanted to learn how to do. It was years before I realized that I can provide others with information to make their own body wrap too.” says Danielle.

Wrap Yourself Slim gives detailed information on the body wrap process as well as giving the reader recipes or “formulas” for making them at home. This book describes the readily available natural ingredients that are used in tese body wrap formulas. It contains a quick reference chart that lists each ingredient and charts their properties related to body wrap benefits.

The book is only available via the internet as an electronic book. Two easy to read formats are available; PDF and an executable webpage version. This format allows instant access after purchase. The reader is able to print the book or read it on their computer.

Fattest Country in the World

January 14, 2011
By

A recent World Health Organization (WHO) report revealed that more than a billion people across the world are overweight, and approximately 300 million of these people are clinically obese. These obesity statistics highlight the fact that this problem has reached epidemic proportions over the last few years. While obesity rates across the world vary significantly, they seem to be quite high in certain countries. It may come as a surprise for many, but a look at the list of world’s fattest countries reveals that at least 10 countries of the world have more than 60 percent of its population overweight. Before we move on to see which is the fattest country in the world, let’s have a look at the definition of obesity and overweight in general.

Obesity: Definition

Obesity is a health condition – typically characterized by accumulation of excess body fat in the body to an extent wherein it interferes with certain body functions, causes various health problems associated with these body functions and reduces the person’s life expectancy. Body mass index (BMI) – the tool used for determining whether a person is obese by taking his height and body weight into consideration, defines a person as obese when his BMI exceeds 30 kg/m2. Similarly, if the person’s BMI is between 25 kg/m2 and 30 kg/m2 he is considered to be overweight – a condition which precedes obesity. The obesity rate is considered to be an indicator of the country’s nutritional trends and health care scenario, which makes it extremely important when determining the progress of the said country in the field of health care.

Fattest Country in the World 2010

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) statistics, the distinction of being world’s fattest country goes to the American Samoa islands in the Pacific Ocean. Around 93.5 percent of the people inhabiting this island are overweight in nature. While the problems such as obesity and overweight seem to be quite common when it comes various islands in the Pacific belt, it seems to have reached epidemic proportion in American Samoa. Experts are of the opinion that the introduction of fast food in the American Samoan diet is the underlying cause of obesity in this region. That being said, you may come across sources which give a list of world’s fattest countries with American Samoa featuring nowhere on it. This can be attributed to the fact that it is an unincorporated territory of the United States. If that criteria is taken into consideration, the island nation of Kiribati (again in the Pacific Ocean) becomes the fattest country in the world with 81.5 percent of its population being overweight.

10 Fattest Countries in the World

While the American Samoa is the fattest country in the world, several other countries seem to be closing in to the top spot and the rising obesity rates for these countries validates this fact. Given below is a list of fattest countries in the world as per the statistical data compiled by the World Health Organization (WHO).

93.5
2
Kiribati

3

7

8

9

*Obesity in the United States: The fact that United States features at the 3rd position in the list of world’s fattest countries highlights the growing problem of obesity in America. Some of the fattest cities in America are Corpus Christi (Texas), Charleston (West Virginia) and El Paso (Texas) etc.

That was a brief information about which is the fattest country in the world, with passing reference to the top 10 fattest countries in the world. Obese people are more vulnerable to several diseases and disorders, with type 2 diabetes, heart problem, osteoarthritis, etc. topping the list. According to the WHO estimates, almost all the countries mentioned above spend anywhere between 2-6 percent of their total health care expenditure on health problems caused by obesity. While this is just the estimated expenditure, the actual expenditure is considered to be a lot more hefty than this.

Made in Italy Swimsuit Industry Confirms Its Own Prestige All Around The World

In English and New Zealand and some zones of Australian English, bikini are usually called togs. Some history: In all probability, since 1400 BC Roman and Greek athletes were used to dress costumes as much similar as the modern bikinis (This is well shown on frescos and findings of that historic period).

This term is less common in other parts of the Commonwealth where it can also refer to clothes in general. However, proper bathing suits (swimsuits) finalized to recreation and water sport activities, date back to the end of XIX century. Of course, speaking about women swimwear, they were one-piece swimsuits aimed to hide any sinuous, female shape.

Swimsuits can be skin-tight or loosely fitting and range from garments designed to preserve as much modesty as possible to garments designed to reveal as much of the body as possible without actual nudity. On the contrary, modern bikini swimsuits, were created and introduced in the market by the Parisian engineer Lous Reard ( the word bikini derives from an atoll of the Marshall Islands).

They are often lined with a fabric that prevents them from becoming transparent when wet. Naturally this innovation on women’s swimwear outfit -with naked gluteus and belly-, provoked clamour and diffidence in United States, where only in the 50’s was definitely accepted and introduced in the market.

A bikini or two-piece is a type of women’s swimsuit, characterized by two separate parts one covering the breasts, the other the groin, leaving an uncovered area between the two garments. Nowadays, after years of experience and style, the Italian production of bathing suits covers a big part of the business representing research, offer and purchasing volumes of swimwear.

It is often worn in hot weather and while swimming. The shapes of both parts of a bikini closely resemble women’s underwear, and the lower part of a bikini can therefore range from the more revealing thong or g-string to briefs and the more modest square-cut shorts. This is probably due to the great tradition, as well as in the sector of summer swimsuit fashion, also in the manufacturing development of the fashion clothing industry able to offer a trend and define fashion on a planetary level.

For a total globalization of swimsuit products, it is fundamental that those Italian Companies dedicated to the creation and development of summer swimwear, adopt advanced web technologies that will allow worldwide visibility and whole satisfaction of the sector demand. For this purpose, Toscana Chiarugi offers experience and professionalism in the production and online sale of swimwear thanks to promotional investments and realization of a new online catalogue illustrating the whole new summer collection.

Chiarugi is a reference point on the web for swimwear and lingerie sale, being its users not only Italian but women in general, wishing to distinguish themselves by femininity and prestige.Another score gained by the ‘made in Italy’ clothes manufacturing compared with the European and International Competition!

The Slim Wizard From Florida Shows the World His Sunny Side

January 3, 2011
By

When America woke up yesterday looking for a black friend to hug, the once brooding presence of Roy Jones Jr would not leap into the consciousness of anyone who has had dealings with him over the years.

Jones, in his pomp, came across as an arrogant and sullen loner. He would be late for press conferences or make people wish he had never turned up in the first place. He dissed anyone who doubted his genius and he had little patience for opponents he regarded as clearly inferior, nearly always with justification.

The slim wizard from Pensacola, Florida, had the talent to back it all up until the night in Las Vegas four years ago when Antonio Tarver took his five sanctioned titles and his aura away with a left hook that stunned boxing and did not do much for Jones’s view of the world either.

Worse followed four months later when Glen Johnson knocked him out with a right in Memphis, Tennessee, leaving the remains of a modern ring legend draped over the ropes. He took two minutes to recover but refused to be helped from the ring. But, when Tarver beat him again, on points in 2005, there were few who thought there was anything left in the Roy Jones story.

Then, in the grand tradition of American sporting melodrama, he redeemed himself. Jones refused to accept he was finished and he did what a lot of old champions try to do but cannot – he came back. He beat, as he describes them, “a big guy”, Prince Badi Ajamu, “an unbeaten guy”, Anthony Hanshaw, and “a little guy”, Felix Trinidad.

He is 39 and he might be vulnerable but he is still Roy Jones and he still believes. He has changed, though, and it has been a marked characteristic of the lead-up to his showdown with Joe Calzaghe at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

What is palpably different is his demeanor. Veteran Jones-watchers can hardly believe how nice the guy is. As Tim Smith of the New York Daily News said yesterday, “He’s nothing like the old Roy Jones.”

He is polite to a fault. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He was kept waiting by Calzaghe at a gym two days ago and complained to nobody. As one of his aides, Greg Fritz, said, “There has been a transformation. He takes things more in his stride now.”

He has also found God and, in this country, that brings with it a moral tone that can confuse outsiders. There is no reason to doubt his sincerity but it can come across as a performance.

Yesterday he was in fine form. “It’s not that unusual for me to be nice to an opponent,” he said. “You can act the fool but you don’t have to be a fool. Being a fool means saying stupid stuff. For what? He’s still going to be my brother in Christ when it’s all over with. You understand? So I’m not going to act like I hate him because I don’t. I got to beat him but I don’t hate the dude. The dude’s a good dude. I mean, look at the way he acts. How could you hate the dude? I know you don’t get it often in boxing but that’s the way it is, exactly.”

Jones was buoyed by more than Christian piety. “I am so proud to be an American today, more than at any time in my life.” And, along with 52% of American voters, he ecstatically embraced the Presidential victory of Barack Obama the night before, and he adopted his new leader’s motto for this fight: “It’s time for a change.”

Change for Jones would be a return to the status he enjoyed almost from the day he turned professional after the Seoul Olympics of 1988, where he was infamously robbed of a gold medal.

Change would see him dance and sting like he did against James Toney. Change would have Roy inflicting pain on Joe the way he did to Lou Del Valle in this same city 10 years ago. Change is not easy.

Jones’s respect for Calzaghe is more than show, even though they are co-promoters. It is heartfelt and he does not shy away from accepting that he is in for serious examination of his resolve on Saturday night, not to mention a chin that has been brutally exposed twice, admittedly by a pair of deadening blows.

Calzaghe, too, has been full of compliments for his opponent and business partner. But, up close, the Welshman, who is three years younger, will see not just a man who believes he can turn back the clock but an old man, albeit much nicer than the young man he used to be.

Secrets of His World - Chapter 4

I found this picture on the Internet and I instantly thought of Damien.
He looks a lot like how I pictured Damien. Just pretend he has green eyes the color of a summer leaf lol. I’ll look for pictures of Erin and Jason and post them with the next few Chapters. I’ll probably even look for a picture of Jess and Rachel(Emily’s mom). Maybe even Beth, too. (:
I hope you guys enjoy!
~Ginger

****
Emily woke up the next morning and turned her alarm clock off. It felt like she didn’t sleep at all that night. She kept tossing and turning. Many times throughout the night she would wake up screaming.

She had to find out who Clarissa is. Why Damien had went on a date with her. Why he hadn’t told her about Clarissa.

After she had taken a shower and ate breakfast she left for school. It had been a quiet morning. No one had been home at her house. Her mother had left for work and Jess was gone to who knows where.

She hadn’t seen or talked to Damien since their fight yesterday. She didn’t even see his car this morning.

Emily pulled into her parking space at school and got out. She was going to be early today. Usually her and Damien would take their time and talk a little before they left for school and had only a few minutes to get to class when they arrived.

Today she had taken a shower, eaten breakfast alone, and rode to school by her self. She had twenty minutes of free time. Emily took her time walking to the school building.

She was just opening the doors when she spotted Damien. He was standing next to a locker with some girl. The girl was a little shorter than Damien. She had long blonde hair and long legs. She was super skinny and wearing ho-ish clothes, which was a really short skirt and a tight white shirt. You could even see her red bra through it.

Damien was smiling at her and talking up a storm. Emily tried not to pay much attention to him as she passed. He looked at her once and then quickly turned his head.

Emily was getting furious all over again. She stopped at her locker to get her History book when someone bumped into her and made her drop her books and slam her locker shut. Her notes and other papers went flying everywhere.

“Oh, shit! I’m sorry!” the guy exclaimed.

Emily sighed and opened her locker back up.

“It’s okay. Don’t worry about it,” she told him without at him.

She started picking the papers by her feet up when a tan hand shot out in front of her. She looked up and noticed the guy. It was Jason from her Chemistry class. She had had a crush on him once.

“Let me get it,” he told her, smiling.

“No, that’s okay. You can go on with your business. I can get it,” she said, returning his smile.

“No, no. This was my fault. I’m picking it up, not you.”

Emily straightened up and watched Jason picking her things up. He was six feet tall and slim. Jason had brown hair and blue eyes. He was the quarter back for the football team. He had never noticed – let alone talked – to her before.

He gathered all her papers and gave them back to her. She thanked him and went back to rummaging through her locker. She noticed he was still standing there leaned against the locker by hers, watching her.

“You know, I’ve lived in this town for almost seven years now and I’ve never seen you before. What’s your name?” he said after a moment of watching her.

“Well, I’ve noticed you quite a bit and my name’s Emily Lovett,” she replied.

“Emily Lovett…” he trailed off.

Emily looked at him out of the corner of her eye. He was still watching her with a smile on his face. He was devastatingly handsome when he smiled. She smiled a little herself and then shut her locker.

“We have Chemistry,” he said while she put her books in her bag.

“Really? I wouldn’t say that. I mean, I barely even know you,” Emily joked.

Jason laughed and then shook his head.

“You’re funny Lovett. Anyway, I had better get to class. I’ll see you in Chemistry.”

“Alright. Bye,” she said.

She turned around to head for her History class when she nearly got knocked down. Damien was standing behind her and was looking at her. He almost looked mad.

“Can I help you with something?” Emily asked rudely.

“No. I was just wondering if I could have my book back,” he told her. He sounded lifeless.

Emily blushed and felt guilty for being mean to him. She turned around and opened her locker back up. She got his Literature book out of her locker and handed it to him. He tried to take it but Emily held on.

“Damien, we need to talk,” she told him.

“There’s nothing to talk about,” he insisted.

“Yes there is. Why didn’t you tell me you had a date with some girl named Clarissa?”

“Because it isn’t any of your business. And how did you even find out about that?”

“I went over to your house yesterday to apologize and your dad said you were out on a date with some girl named Clarissa. And you’re right. It isn’t any of my business. Sorry I even asked,” Emily said angrily.

She let go of his book and took off for her History class. She heard him call her name once, but she ignored him. She had tears running down her cheeks. She stopped outside of the class and wiped her face.

When she was in class and it started she hardly listened. The teacher called on her to answer a question and she didn’t know. She didn’t even get embarrassed for not knowing.

She spent the whole class thinking about Damien and Erin and Jess and Jason. Jason said he would see her in Chemistry, which meant he was looking forward to seeing her. At least someone is looking forward to seeing me, she told herself.

She spent half the day just thinking about different things. She tried to get her mind off Damien and on to something else. Most of the time she preoccupied her self with thinking about Jason.

It was now fourth period and she would be going to her Chemistry class. That means she’ll be seeing Jason. She grabbed her book from her locker and went straight to class.

When Emily entered the room the first person she saw was Jason. He looked at her and smiled. She walked to her normal seat, which was by a girl with dark hair and dark skin. Everyone called her Liz the Wiz because she’s smart.

Emily sat her bags down, only to have them picked up by a tan hand. She looked up to see Jason standing there holding her bag.

“I think you should be my partner for the day, don‘t you?” he said.

He turned around without letting Emily answer. He walked to his seat and sat her bag and book down by his seat. Jason motioned for Emily to come over and sit by him. She smiled and took her seat.

“So, what’s the deal? You’ve never noticed me and you never talk to me and now you’re making me sit by you and everything,” she said.

She raised a brow at him when he shrugged.

“I never noticed you before, like you said. But I noticed you this morning and I think I might want to get to know you. Besides, I think I never noticed you before because you were always hanging around what’s-his-name. I only go for the lonely girls that have no one,” he joked.

“I see.”

“Do you really?” he asked mischievously.

Emily laughed at him and then said, “Nope.”

“Niiice.” He sounded cute when he extended the I in nice.

“Yes, yes indeed.”

They were both silent for a moment. Emily tried not to look self-conscious while Jason was looking at her. He smiling while he watched her fiddle with a curl.

“So, who are you sitting with at lunch today?” Jason asked her.

“Casper the Friendly Ghost. You?” Emily joked with him.

“Oh. Yeah? I think I might want to sit with Casper, too, if that’s okay with you.”

She smiled at him and said, “I don’t mind. You might want to ask Casper, though. He doesn’t like guys that flirt with me. He’s very protective.”

“Well, well then. I guess I’m going to have to kick some invisible butt in orders to sit with a beautiful girl. I don’t mind doing it, you know.”

Emily and Jason both laughed at that. He’s funny, cute, and charming, Emily thought. Damien had made her laugh, too, but not like Jason did. There was something about Jason, though, that made her want to hide a little. Something that made her nervous.

Emily hardly ever got nervous. She was a very outgoing girl. Sometimes even outspoken. Only someone she really liked – like Damien – could make her really nervous. And here was Jason Grove, making her as nervous as a kitten.

They spent the whole class talking about the most random things and laughing. Emily had just enough time to finish her paper before the teacher took it up. Jason only got twenty of thirty questions answered.

“Looks as if I’m going to get a low grade on that one,” Jason mumbled as the teacher took his paper up.

“I got all of mine done,” Emily bragged.

“Well not everyone can be as smart as you.” Jason laughed.

Emily blushed and then hid behind her hair. She turned toward the class to listen to what Mrs. Jones had to say. She was telling them what their homework was.

When the class was dismissed Emily noticed that Jason stayed in his seat. She looked at him as she gathered her things. He was watching her again.

“I think I’m going to walk with you to your locker to put your books up and then spend lunch with you,” he announced.

“Alright. You’d better hurry and come on then,” she told him.

He grabbed his book off the desk and walked Emily to her locker. She put her books up and went to shut her locker when Jason put his hand in the way.

“Do you mind if I keep my book in your locker? It gives me a reason to hang around you,” he teased.

Emily giggled a little and then nodded her head. She opened her locker up and pushed her books aside to make room for Jason’s book. He laid his book in her locker in front of the picture of her and Damien.

Even though Emily was sure he hadn’t meant to put it there, or didn’t know, she felt sad. She missed Damien and his laugh and his jokes and the way he looked at her sometimes. She missed everything about Damien. Emily moved his book over a little so that it was no longer blocking the picture.

Jason held out his arm for her to take. Emily put her arm through his and they left for lunch. On the way there everyone was staring at them.

Jason was popular. More popular than Damien, even. People at their school would think they were dating with the way they were acting and talking and holding on to each others arm. She didn’t mind though.

They were in the lunch line when she heard Damien’s voice. She looked behind her and there he stood. He was wearing a black button-up shirt and tight jeans that hugged his hips and thighs, making his butt look nice, Emily added mentally.

He was with the blonde bimbo he was talking to earlier. He didn’t seem to notice Emily was even in front of him. Damien just kept talking and smiling and making the bimbo laugh.

“That’s Clarissa Hamilton,” Jason whispered in Emily’s ear. Emily looked at him.

Emily wasn’t one for using people, but it looked like she was going to have to. She could feel horrible and guilty about it later. She decided she was going to use Jason for all he’s worth. Emily was going to try to make Damien jealous.

“Do you have a girlfriend?” she whispered to Jason.

“No. Do you have a boyfriend?” he whispered back.

“No. Do you want a girlfriend?”

He thought about that for a minute. He never took his eyes off Emily. Then he busted out laughing.

“Sure would, but only if it’s you,” Jason told her.

She smiled. Phase one of her plan was done. Now on to phase two.

“Great! Would you like to go out tonight or something?” she asked him enthusiastically.

“Yeah, I’d love to. How about I pick you up after school?” he insisted.

She knew Damien was listening. He wasn’t laughing with his little bimbo anymore. She took a chance to look behind her at him. He was staring at the floor with his eyebrows puckered in the middle.

“Not right after school. I’m taking a friends fiancee out to show her around. She’s new here. But I can meet you somewhere at the Mall afterward,” Emily told him loud enough for Damien to hear her.

“Perfect! I’ll give you my number and you can call me to meet you somewhere when you guys are finished.”

“Great.”

Emily smiled and continued through the lunch line. She and Jason gave each other their phone numbers. Jason kept telling her jokes and she would laugh at them. It was a lot easier than she thought, but she knew that’s because she wanted to laugh at and with him and not just pretend to.

Jason was actually quite funny when he was on a roll. When they took their seats and had started eating Jason was telling her a story about himself when he was younger. She laughed so hard that she almost choked on her pizza. And as a result of that she laughed even harder with Jason joining in.

Every few minutes she would look at Damien. He would be looking at her every time she looked. She would then turn her eyes back to Jason and start telling jokes. Damien didn’t look happy about that.

“You know, Lovett, I’m glad I bumped into you this morning,” Jason told Emily on their way to dump their trays.

“Me too,” she said truthfully.

“Anyway, I’ll walk you to your next class and then I’ll see you after school sometime.”

“Okay. Let’s go.”

Emily gabbed his hand and pulled him toward the cafeteria door. He was laughing at her the whole time. When they were talking while eating he had said she was the most enthusiastic girl he’d ever met. Probably because I’m using him, she had told herself. It was mostly just pretend. Some of it wasn’t though.

There was an aura about Jason that made Emily ecstatic. Something about him that made her want to jump up and down with excitement. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but there was definitely something there.

After Jason had taken her to her locker and then walked her to class she started getting really nervous. Her next class was with Damien. And Erin. She would have to sit with Damien, who didn’t like her much at the moment. And she would have to see Erin, who she liked, but had a fiancee and is the father of her sisters baby.

Emily wondered if Erin knew about the baby. What if he didn’t even remember sleeping with her sister Jess? She would ask him about that later.

“I guess I’ll see you after school at the mall. Bye,” Jason said, kissing her on the hand.

“Bye,” she replied.

As much as she didn’t want to, she had to go to Literature class now. She sucked in a deep breath, let it out, and then walked in to the classroom.
