Go Team! Well, Sort Of. A Must Read For Monavie Team Builders

August 13, 2011
By

A buzzword in business for at least the last decade has been all about Team.  We’ve all heard it…Go Team!

Do you think that it is all about team?

If you agree…then you are off the mark!

A fantastic trainer and speaker, Dan Clark gives a speech on being part of a team.  This article is about his message and adapated for your Monavie business.

I’m here to tell you that it is NOT all about your Monavie team.  It’s about you!  Remember that every team loses at some point.  Are there companies going bankrupt as I write this post and as you read it?  Indeed, and each one of them has a team.  It’s not all about team.  Teams lose.

Interestingly enough, we’ve all heard the phrase that there is no “I” in team.  This is true if you are in a spelling bee.  Wanna play spelling bee?  Then let’s do it.  True, there is no “I” in team however there are two “I’s” in winning.    The first “I”:  Independent and Individual Preparation which includes allegianceto:  Change, Cause, Confidence, Clarity, Chemistry, Character and Consistency.

Let me break down the second “I”:  Interdependent Collaboration which is dedication to:  Conclusion, Contribution and Cohesion.  In order to establish a successful Monavie team you need to commit to these ten C’s.

They don’t give out Super Bowl rings one at a time.  So, yes, you  are right there is no “I” in team.  If you want to build a prosperous Monavie team then you’ve got to have the most “I” players on your team.  These are the players that are focused on Independent and Individual Preparation along with Interdependent Collaboration.

Are you an “I” player?  Are you the best that YOU can be? We give up our personal power and our ability to rise to the occasion when we rely on others more than we rely on ourselves.  For the good of the team, we must take personal responsibility.

A classic movie, “Miracle” the story of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey team illustrates a great point.  Head coach Herb Brooks, pulls together a bunch of young twenty somethings to try out for the team. There is a great scene that begins with him cutting many of the star or “best” players.  The chagrined head of the Olympic committee confronts the coach after practice and asks, “What the heck are you doing?  Why are you letting all of the best players go?”  Coach Brooks explains, “I can’t win with the best players, I can only win with the right players.”  The best players may have three or four of these ten C’s but the right players have all of the ten C’s.  Interestingly enough, this team shocks the world and wins the Gold Medal.

Independent and Individual Preparation.  Are you the best that you can possibly be?  Here’s what’s real…it’s not about exceeding your potential!   That’s impossible… no one can exceed their potential.   The goal is to hang around people that inspire us to become more of who we already are!  Don’t exceed potential…exceed expectations.  We begin exceed expectations when we stretch and exceed our capacity from the inside out.  It’s imperative to keep the goal in mind to become all that we can possibly be so that we can put our best foot forward to help the entire team win.

Are you the best that you can be exceeding people’s expectations with your Monavie business?

Regardless of your current situation and what team you currently play for at this moment in time, the question is why are you there?  Why?  Why are you reading this post?  The ‘how to” becomes easy once you identify your why?

It is your responsibility, if you want to be on a winning team, to be best that you can possibly be.  Physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially, socially and most importantly with your family.  If you get your act together and live by these ten C’s then you will win in Monavie.

Clarity – Likes attract likes – the law of attraction.

Character – It’s what you do when no one is around that matters.

Confidence – This basically mind memory.  You’ve done it so many times that you don’t question your ability.

Consistency – The muscle memory that comes from perfect practice.

Change – Life isn’t what happens it’s how you respond to it.

Cause – Answer the why.   Then figuring out the how-to is simple.

Chemistry – It’s not what you do…it’s who you do it with.

The second “I” in winning represents the last three C’s of the ten.

Contribution – Making everyone else around you better.

Cohesion – Making sure that when people leave you they say, “I like you best, I want to see you again.”

Conclusion – Focus, finish and close the deal.

You will create a dynamic Monavie team when you put these ten C’s to work in your business.  In turn, you will create personal value and always have security.

Ian Fitzpatrick has made a career of building organizations with millions of dollars in revenue to his credit.  He knows that anyone can establish a Monavie Team with the right training and attitude.  His MLM Online Training helps Monavie distributors generate 20 – 50 fresh leads daily.

Maruti forms joint R&D team for fully indigenous car

February 25, 2011
By

Maruti Suzuki, the largest passenger car manufacturer of India has begun its work of developing the first completely ‘made in India’ car. Designing and developing future products in India is a part of company’s strategy and that is why a joint top level team has been made for this global product strategy. This team of the company comprises of R&D experts from both Japan and India. This joint team will be headed by Maruti Suzuki’s managing executive officers (engineering) K Asai and I.V Rao. As per the company sources, the concept of forming a R&D experts’ team was decided 2 months back, during the visit of Osamu Suzuki, Suzuki Motor Corp’s chairman, to India. A company official said that Maruti Suzuki’s process of developing a completely indigenous car model is underway. But still the company has not decided a particular timeline for the same. On the other side, Mr I.V Rao confirmed that he was heading the R&D experts’ team. He stated that till now Maruti Suzuki has been making cars in India but the company is now looking to get into the product development also which will be done here. However Rao refused to provide the exact time period for the launching of this new indigenous model. Top engineers from the auto companies of US have also been recruited by the company. These skillful engineers will be working under Asai and Rao for delivering the product. Before launching the product in India, it will be tested in the European markets. The sources have told that following this strategy will be beneficial for the company as it will provide the company with the option of saving a substantial amount of money which it pays to Suzuki Motors as a royalty of using its technology. Earlier it was reported that once the R&D centre of Maruti Suzuki at Haryana is completely developed by 2015, the company could begin demanding a royalty from Suzuki Motors, therefore reversing the present trend. RC Bhargava, chairman, Maruti Suzuki stated that there is logic in Suzuki Motor paying a royalty to Maruti. The first quarter net profit of Maruti had fell 20% because of the higher royalty paid to Suzuki.

Sport: London’s 2012 Team Snubs Boa Lunch

October 29, 2010
By

Big-hitters from the government and London’s 2012 organising committee were conspicuous by their absence from a British Olympic Association lunch yesterday to honour Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, prime mover behind the Athens Games.

Despite a guest list including Clive Woodward, Trevor Brooking, Kate Hoey, Lord Pendry, the shadow sports minister Hugh Robertson and John Whittingdale, chair of the culture select committee, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport place was taken by Andrew Lean of the Olympic Games unit and no senior member of the London 2012 team turned up. With political tensions over 2012 funding running high, the BOA chairman Lord Moynihan said no snub was intended by the no-shows, the clash with the Commonwealth Games being largely responsible.

The government’s funding plans continue to vex the opposition and the BOA but expectations are high that the chancellor will announce extra money in his budget a week tomorrow. It would be no surprise if Gordon Brown, keen on maximum publicity for his largesse, were to refer to the funding only briefly at the despatch box before staging a more detailed and publicity-seeking launch a few days later.

Caborn’s Levy dilemma

Richard Caborn is giving Cheltenham a miss this year, being otherwise engaged in Melbourne at the Commonwealth Games, but he will not avoid racing’s feuding factions for long. The sports minister will chair a meeting of the sport’s bigwigs next week at which, farcically, he may be asked to reverse the decision to abandon the Levy Board.

Such is the shambles surrounding the future funding of the sport that Lord Donoghue, chairman of the British Horseracing Board’s review of its funding crisis, has said that reinstating the levy may be the only legally watertight way of securing the sport’s future. The request is unlikely to go down well, given that it was the BHB which asked Caborn to do away with the levy. The government has ruled nothing out but it will be extremely reluctant to ask parliament to reverse its decision and make racing the only professional sport in the UK that is effectively state-funded.

Another ball game

Cheltenham is traditionally a big draw for footballers and this year will be no exception. Liam Brady, below, is expected to take a day off from Arsenal’s academy to watch his horse Cerium contest the Arkle today and will be joined by a Newcastle contingent led by Alan Shearer, who has a share in the Intersky Racing syndicate run by Terry McDermott, owners of the 50-1 Champion Hurdle chance Intersky Falcon. Michael Owen is also expected and may be able to catch up with Robbie Fowler and another former Liverpool team-mate, Steve McManaman, whose horse Seebald goes in the William Hill Trophy.

TV talks under way

Channel 4 has opened negotiations with Cheltenham and other rights holders about extending its coverage of the sport beyond the current deal. It continued to show the sport only after the Tote stumped up £4.8m in sponsorship last year and it is expected to talk to several bookmakers, thought to include Stan James, as it seeks to extend a deal that currently does not cover next year’s Festival. C4′s head of sport Andrew Thompson said he had not spoken directly to any bookmakers but he remained committed to the sport. With the BBC cherry-picking events such as the Festival, C4′s departure would leave the vast majority of the calendar in the digital hinterland occupied by Racing UK and Attheraces.

Liverpool say sorry

Liverpool have apologised to Manchester United supporters showered with missiles and human excrement during the FA Cup fifth-round defeat at Anfield last month. United fans in the lower tier of the Anfield Road stand were targeted at half-time and after the 1-0 defeat. Liverpool’s stadium manager Ged Poynton has written to apologise but he admitted many of those responsible were not identified because of the crush to leave the ground at full-time.

Here Is Plenty Of Reason To Join The Team Beachbody Business Opportunity

September 8, 2010
By

Team Beachbody, if you haven’t gotten familiar with the name then it is high-time you do so. Maybe you’ve seen the infomercial on Hip Hop Abs, Slim in 6, Yoga Booty Ballet or P90X. All of these are Beachbody products, which include excellent DVDs designed to help you lose weight and become physically fit beyond recognition. Some people have lost incredible amounts of weight by using the revolutionary Beachbody products and you will be no exception.

The Proof is in the Pudding

It was in the year of 2007, nearly ten years after being founded by Carl Daikeler, when Team Beachbody tested the waters of the multi-level marketing (MLM) industry, allowing them to comprise a team of Beachbody coaches. These were everyday people like you and I that were struggling to lose weight. They became independent distributors of the products and while distributing they recognized the importance of practicing what they were preaching. Before too long, Beachbody coaches were sporting sculptured abs, trimmed waistlines and a desire to help others achieve their health and fitness goals and recruit other coaches into the Beachbody business.

Why Team Beachbody Coaches are Successful

Becoming a Beachbody coach is the first step towards totally transforming your life. One of the keys in successfully recruiting others into the Team Beachbody business opportunity is the fact that all of the coaches have walked in your shoes. The fact is, there isn’t a situation you may be going through that the Beachbody coaches haven‘t experienced themselves. If you are experiencing certain health issues such as obesity, anxiety or depression, you can rest assured there is a Beachbody coach that has experienced it also. This should make you feel comfortable and in essence help to motivate you and develop the self-esteem and courage necessary to become a success Beachbody coach as well.

Euro 2008 Team Preview No14: Russia

June 18, 2010
By

If there’s one country more burdened by under-achievement (from a football perspective) than England, it’s Russia. The Soviet Union won the inaugural European Championship in 1960, but after that one World Cup semi-final and one European Championship final represent a poor harvest for the country that effectively invented modern football when Viktor Maslov pioneered systematized pressing at Dynamo Kyiv in the 1960s.Since fragmentation, the story has been even worse, with the seven major tournaments since they started competing as Russia yielding three first-round exits and four failures to qualify. Yegor Titov, the former Russia captain, has spoken of the sense of discomfit he feels every time he leaves the motherland, but the old inferiority complexes surely no longer pertain in Vladimir Putin’s modern thrusting nation. After all, within the last month, a Russian club has lifted the Uefa Cup, while Russia have won the world ice-hockey championship and Eurovision Song Contest.Equally, it could be argued that Guus Hiddink’s main achievement as coach has been to tackle the fear of failure that has haunted the squad. Players are encouraged to swear in training and, on the first day of get-togethers, to joke about each other’s club form. The forward Roman Pavlyuchenko, whose arrival as a substitute so unsettled England in Moscow, says that players now look forward to national matches, whereas previously they could seem a bit of a chore. However, the defeat in Israel and the scrappy win over Andorra with which they stumbled over the line thanks to England’s defeat at home to Croatia, suggests the ability to turn it on when it matters should not be taken for granted. After all the hype that surrounded his arrival, Hiddink’s reign actually began poorly, with home draws in their first two qualifiers against Croatia and Israel. An away win in Macedonia, though, began to convince the doubters, less because of the 2-0 margin than because of the style of the victory, with seven attacking players used in a 3-5-2. That has remained the Hiddink mode ever since, and at times, as in that last 20 minutes against England in Moscow when they poured forward in red waves, it can be breathtaking. They are also, though, distinctly shaky at the back, something that is to do with personnel as much as system. Having the outstanding young goalkeeper, Igor Akinfeev, back from a serious knee injury will help, but not as much as Hiddink’s recognition that the CSKA triumvirate of Sergei Ignashevich and the Berezutsky twins are probably inch-for-inch the worst headers of a ball in history. The recent elevation to the squad of Zenit’s Roman Shirokov, himself a converted attacking midfielder, can only be a good thing. The prevalence of teams deploying only one central forward (in this group, both Spain and Greece will) has rendered 3-5-2 all but obsolete, for there is no point having a libero and two markers if there is only one striker to mark. To counter that, Russia will effectively play on a pivot, with the rapid Aleksandr Anyukov dropping in at full-back as required and the other three shuffling across. It could be argued that Hiddink’s chosen formation needlessly over-complicates things, but on the other hand Russia have vast reserves of technically-gifted midfielders, and 3-5-2 is a way of using as many as possible.Anyukov is quick, but he is nothing compared to Vladimir Bystrov, who is likely to operate on the other flank (although there is also the talented but inconsistent Yuri Zhirkov to be considered). In the middle, Konstantin Zyryanov, Russia’s player of the year for 2007, is fairly assured of his place as a steadying influence, with the recalled Sergei Semak – in the form of his life for league-leaders Rubin Kazan and named as captain in the recent friendly against Serbia – likely to operate alongside him. Lokomotiv’s Diniyar Bilyaletdinov will probably be given the more advanced central midfield role, leaving Dmitri Torbinsky and Igor Semshov as options on the bench.Up front the big problem is that Andrei Arshavin, man of the match in the Uefa Cup final, is suspended for the opening two games after stupidly being sent off against Andorra in the final qualifier. His Zenit team-mate Pavel Pobregnyak, meanwhile, is a doubt with a knee injury. The slightly more mobile Pavlyuchenko would probably have been handed the target-man’s brief ahead of Pogrebynak anyway, but Arshavin’s probable replacement, Dmitri Sychev, gifted as he is, is not a like-for-like deputy.Russia could be out before their best player even takes the field, but if they are not, there is just a chance that they could add to what Putin has already termed Russian sport’s golden age. It’s a slim chance admittedly, but even making it through the groups would be a new best since fragmentation.

Corporate Team Building Activities

June 5, 2010
By

Although team building activities are often the brunt of jokes in the office place, the team building process is important for developing cooperation and teamwork amongst co-workers. Teambuilding helps employees form an effective team and strive toward common goals in the workplace, improving overall productivity.

In an office environment, teams have to work together effectively to get the job done and achieve assigned objectives. Mutual respect and shared motivation are also important. Team building activities are helpful because they’re designed to nurture positive teamwork and help each member of the team use their strengths to achieve the set objectives.

Companies are faced with a lot of different human resources issues these days – understaffing, burnout, outsourcing, and other problems are becoming more prevalent. It’s more important than ever to incorporate team building into your business practices if you want keep up morale and benefit your company.

Encouraging communication is key to a happy staff, which is the cornerstone of teambuilding. Team building activities encourage improved communication through different methods, but they all share the same purpose – to strengthen the teams that are integral to the successful operation of your business.

Team building exercises help team members practice collaboration, brainstorming, creativity, trust, and feedback. Particular focus areas may include problem solving, organization, and conflict resolution, as well as leadership, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Teambuilding exercises fall into more than one category – for instance, there are team building activities that take place outside and inside the workplace. Some examples of team building activities include rope courses, cooking school, or field days full of different team building games and exercises. Sometimes the teambuilding activities that take place are rather fun, such as car racing and scavenger hunts.

Corporate team building events are sometimes special celebrations planned around holidays. This type of corporate team building is usually organized to encourage goodwill amongst employees. Although team building games can be a lot of fun, some people respond better to community-type team building exercises. Holiday events may include a Halloween costume contest, or a big feast on another fun holiday. Team building exercises that start a company tradition are very effective at bringing people together. Other great ideas: sporting events, potluck meals, team t-shirts, and drawings for interesting prizes. The more you work to bring people together, the easier it will be to form teams that work well and are able to achieve company objectives efficiently and successfully. Team building can be very effective if done right, so it pays to find a company that will set everything up for you.

If your company needs some good team building ideas, research the various team building companies that provide this type of service to a wide range of businesses. They come up with the team building ideas for you so you don’t have to be involved in every detail of the planning. This way you can organize and set up team building activities for your company that are sure to improve employee relations and boost morale.

Team Fitness America 5 Hottest Trends In Weight Loss

May 27, 2010
By

The stars in Hollywood always seem to set the precedent for what is the hottest way to lose weight and get into shape. From Step Aerobics to Belly Dancing we have seen fads come and go over the years. Stars and celebs don’t spend a ton of money on large expensive equipment anymore and they seem to focus on the styles of exercises that get good solid results. Their bodies are lean and healthy and we see that on TV or Internet and we always want to know their ‘secrets’.

The interesting thing is that they don’t have secrets! They use exercises that trainers have used for years in different combinations and intervals and they stick to the workouts. Most Americans try something for a week or two and give up but as a celeb your body is your job so there is no room for error. Throughout this article, Team Fitness America provides the 5 hottest trends that require little or no money investment and can be done by using a certified personal trainer as your coach and mentor.

1. Running is back. In the 1970’s it was a staple in celeb workouts and was replaced by the famous Step classes in the 80’s. Now it is back and with celebs like Kate Holmes completing the New York marathon in five and a half hours, more and more people realize the benefits of running and cardio condition to get into shape. Over the years we have seen stars like Oprah and Lance Armstrong trend set the art of running long distances by training for and completing a marathon. Each celeb has prepared for such an event by hiring a personal trainer that can coach and condition them to the specifics of running and gear their bodies to burn the right amount of calories at the right time. Running specific trainers and ‘run coaches’ are available to handle nutrition questions, training questions and how to properly prepare the body for such an event that takes time, skill and cardio conditioning.

2. Slideboards are the newest rave for butt sculpting and leg sculpting. Jessica Biel and Valerie Garner are famous for using the slide board with their trainer. Their toned butts and thighs show that the Slideboard helps tone but not bulk up their muscles. The idea behind having a nice round butt hit when Jennifer Lopez came on the scene and we thought it was just good genetics. With the advent of the Slideboard now women all over can have a great toned butt that isn’t bulky or overly muscular. A lot of women have resisted doing squats and lunges because their thighs and glutes get too big and they can’t wear jeans. With the advent of the Slideboard, emphasis is purely on glutes and the nice round shape that women desire can be obtained.

3. H.I.T. workouts. These workouts purely focus on high intensity training (H.I.T.) and are done usually on a treadmill or stepper. Alternating 2 minutes of running, 2 minutes of walking or stepping over a period of 35 minutes to give the body a cardio shock or boost and increase the metabolic rate quickly to burn extra calories throughout a short span. No weights are used so toning the body does not come into play but the quick burst of high intense cardio workouts makes the body burn more calories quicker and faster. With H.I.T. workouts you will need to still do weights and core exercises for toning and shaping but if time and equipment are a factor these are easy quick bursts of exercises that the average person can fit in between doing a load of laundry and picking up the kids from soccer.

4. Circuit training using full body weight. Stars do not have time to do cardio, weights and play sports like a lot of Americans so they lump it into one quick workout and make the results more powerful. Alternating weight bearing exercises like squats and lunges with 2 minutes of cardio, like running or jogging in between sets keeps your heart rate up and your body constantly burning calories and fat. With circuit training you get to tone the body and the fat melts off the lean muscles that you are building quickly and save precious time by building all of the exercises into one workout rather than having to do 2 or 3 hours of weights and cardio each day.

5. Mat Pilates. Pilates combines lengthening and strengthens the muscles using the core body weight and sometimes a stability ball. The exercises are usually performed lying down and require a good mind body connection. Within two weeks you will notice marked improvement in balance, coordination and even start seeing cuts and ridges in the muscles of the stomach. While Pilates may seem hard at first, many people simply can’t grasp the roll up or the main exercises into the series, but with a ball and physical assistance from your personal trainer you will get the moves down in no time and start seeing great results.

With so many different styles of exercises advertized and so many different pieces of equipment to buy on the market fitness can seem overwhelming and daunting. A great in home personal trainer can measure your body fat, assist with your diet and nutrition and recommend the best exercise that will get you the results that you want in no time. As the celebs are, you must remain committed to the exercises plan and stick through it. For them this is a way of life and it should be for you too if you want a celeb fit body.

Team Builds – What’s All The Excitement About?

May 14, 2010
By

It seems that everywhere you go these days we are seeing team builds for just about every matrix system out there, large or small, but mostly small. So what is the essence of team builds, what’s it all about?

Basically a team build is a “team” that has been organized by one or more than one persons, where they take an already in place matrix system and advertise it as being built by a team. Common promises out there are that this “team” is going to get you all the people you need, you just sign up, they will graciously place you, and you don’t have to do anything other than watch the money grow! Don’t kid yourselves people, there is such a thing as a free lunch, but we’re not talking lunch here. The most common scenario is that the organizers of these “builds” almost immediately make a lot of money, and the inexperienced marketers out there are still in the same situation they were in before they joined this financial panacea, and that would be struggling to get people to join yet another matrix system. But to be fair here, team builds do more times than not supply a couple or a few people to your group, but don’t count on doing absolutely nothing and getting rich.

Can there be a benefit to joining a team build? For the most part, usually not, but in this case, absolutely! And here’s the reason. TOOLS and EXPERIENCE! We are sharing the tools of the trade, as well as how to use them to market efficiently. I have to say this, I am not one of the “team builders” I am just another experienced marketer that knows a good deal when I see one. This can be a fantastic means of generating leads, rather than taking the “conventional” route of the forced matrix and the very low pay lead generating programs out there. I and the others are more than willing to teach you how to market, how to get auto-responders for free, and how to get free unlimited webhosting. And on top of that all; are the tools and a “company” of marketers gathered in one chat room ready and willing to share. Tools of the trade, call them what you want, it’s something that every marketer must have.

What we are doing is taking lead generation to a whole new level. Lead generation is now paying the big money, and it’s never been easier. Now let’s be fair here. All matrix systems out there are not created equal. The non-forced matrix is a breath of fresh air to the industry. The forced matrices determine how much you’re going to get paid for every person you bring in, and you have no control over that. Nor would you have control over how often you could get paid. See the blogs written on the subject here: and here:

Team builds for the most part attract the lazy and worthless, but if you can see past that, see that this one offers you more than the program itself offers, you can’t miss the value this really does offer. Do not join a program because someone is promising to do all the work for you, never happens. But join this team build for the tools and training so that we may help train you into becoming a skilled marketer. That’s what it’s all about. Building a team of marketers, trained and armed with all the right tools of the trade. Follow the links for more information, free consultations are available upon request and encouraged.
