Weight Loss Spas – The Luxurious Option Women Love

February 25, 2011
By

When people think about weight loss programs, or losing weight in general, the images that come to mind are of overweight people sweating it out in gyms, huffing and puffing around the track, and carefully counting calories in kitchens across America. But not everyone fights the battle of the bulge alone. Weight loss spas are quickly becoming the newest dieting trend since Weight Watchers!

For those who have the time and the money, weight loss spas offer a luxurious, calming alternative to traditional weight loss programs.  Surrounded by magnificent natural settings and with a full-time staff of people to assist you, it means you can come back from a vacation thinner than when you left. Let’s take a look at some of the more exciting weight loss spas available today.

If you’re stuck in a cold climate and are dreaming of—and dreading at the same time—bikini weather, you can head down to sunny, warm Florida. Even in the depths of winter in the rest of the country, Florida is going strong all winter long with many kinds of weight loss spas to choose from.

Remember Pritikin? It wasn’t just a diet fad way back when (over 100,000 people have benefited from its health and wellness program at the Pritikin Longevity Center & Spa in Aventura, Florida). They have a full menu of spa services as well as stress management workshops, one-on-one counseling with physicians, and education classes lead by nationally acclaimed nutritionists, scientists, and lifestyle counselors.

If your darling husband is also looking for a getaway, why not choose the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida? Let him hit the links, while you treat yourself to a full spa makeover, including exercise programs that will jump-start your diet.

For those of you further out west, the Eden Valley Institute Lifestyle Center in lovely Loveland, Colorado has everything you could want in a weight loss spa, from cooking classes to vegan diet counseling to more spa-like features like massage and weight management. They even have smoking-cessation programs.

Want to combine your weight loss spa trip with some real traveling, as well as kick the luxury up a notch? Stobo Castle in Scotland is a 19th century beauty that combines beauty treatments with weight loss management in a stunning setting that will make you want to stay forever.

The Caribbean has gotten into the act as well, with the CuisinArt Report and Spa in Anguilla, British West Indies. It’s very exclusive, with only 20 guests at any one session. Your meals come from the resort’s hydroponic farm, and exercise classes include long walks on the pristine beaches.

For a trip south of the border, those in the southwest might enjoy a “health vacation” in Melaque, Mexico, which features aerobics classes held in the sea, yoga, massages, and healthy juices made fresh to order.

Up north in Alberta, Canada is the home of the Abundant Life Wellness Centre. They host a 10 to 14 day advanced “whole body detox” and cleansing retreat, which features a six-day juice fast to get you started right.

If you look online, you’re sure to find a weight loss spa that fits your lifestyle, your budget and your location. If you need a jump-start getting that weight off or if you just need a vacation that helps as well as relaxes you, then weight loss spas are your answer.

Come on!

******************************************************************
Got out of the shower and hurried into my room. I plugged my dryer in and started to dry my hair. My hair cascaded down my back into waves of brown chocolate. I left it naturally curly without doing anything to it. After my hair was dried, I lifted the dress I had chosen earlier. It was my favorite color: purple. It was a spaghetti top style that hugged my curves in all the right places. It had a tiny blacks bow under my chest and there was black lace at the bottom. I knew I looked good in it because this was my eye-catching outfit. I always had gotten a lot of compliments on my appearance. I looked into the mirror and smiled to myself. I looked stunning. I sat down at my mirror and applied make-up. I never put on more that eye-liner and mascara but tonight was an exception. I brushed some blush onto my cheeks and sprinkled some glitter onto my neck. I glanced at the clock and it was already 6:30. My phone started to ring and I didn’t know the number.

“Hello?” I tentatively asked.

“Hey Carter, it’s Drake. I’m on my way over to your room right now.”

“Oh hey, okay just knock and I’ll be ready.” We hung up and I sat there waiting. As soon as I heard someone knock, I slipped on my open-toe pumps and grabbed a cardigan. When I got to the door, Vincent had already opened it and stood talking to Drake.

Drake saw me standing behind Vincent and his jaw literally dropped. His eyes were glued to my body and I could see him staring at me up and down. I felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze. Vincent noticed and turned around. His face contorted into an unreadable expression.

“Hey Drake.” I smiled at him and walked to his side. I entwined my arm in his and he tensed up. Vincent’s eyes grew big at our connected arms. Drake soon relaxed and he looked comfortable.

“Ready to go?” I nodded as Drake was saying bye to Vincent. We walked out together and I could feel Vincent’s gaze on my back. We were walking along a path outside approaching the main hall where the dance was held. “You look really good tonight, beautiful.”

I blushed as Drake gently touched my cheek. He realized what he was doing and quickly pulled his hand away as if ashamed. I noticed for the first time what he was wearing. He had on dark, slim jeans with a white button up dress shirt and hanging from his neck was a loosely tied skinny tie. His hair was recently wet and glistened under the moon. He looked gorgeous. I was checking him out when I stumbled on a crack in the sidewalk. I fell forward and was about to fall when Drake grabbed my arm and pulled me up into his arms. I was right up against his chest and I could feel his steady heart beat. The longer I stood there, the faster his heart began to beat. I looked up and my eyes were drawn to his lips. They looked so inviting and on an impulse I reached up and traced my pinky along his lips. I could feel Drake tremble when I touched him. His breath got quicker as I felt his heart racing against my cheek. Drake took my hand in his own and brought it down to my side.

I don’t know why I did it, but I raised myself up on my toes and pressed my lips against his. They were soft and warm. He was resistant at first, but when I kept persisting, he finally started to respond. He was kissing me back and I boldly traced my tongue over his lips. His mouth opened to welcome me as he explored thoroughly my own mouth. I wrapped my arms around his neck as my right hand tousled through his hair. I felt his hands wrap around my waist as he pulled me closer to him. We both came up for breath at the same time. He was looking at me so gently that I felt I could trust everything with him.

“You guys I don’t think this the right place.” I whirled at the voice and turned to see Thomas staring at us. He seemed annoyed to find us standing in his path. There was a pretty red head draped over his arm. She was wearing a white strapless dress that emphasized her hair and fair skin. Thomas eyed us with amusement and I felt Drake’s arm wound protectively around me. I leaned back into Drake and approved when he wrapped his arm around me tighter.

“I’m sorry Thomas you had to see, but you don’t need to linger. Keep going where you were going.” I smiled sweetly even though I was annoyed to be interrupted. Thomas looked taken aback at my blunt statement and I could feel Drake trying to hold in his laughter. “Well Drake and I will leave first. We’ll see you later at the dance!” I put as much enthusiasm into my voice as I could muster and dragged Drake along the path until we were out of sight. Drake stopped and turned me to him and kissed me hard. It wasn’t like before; it was more passionate and forceful. I responded just as fiercely, but he pulled away first and kissed my hair.

“That was pretty brave of you Carter. I like a strong woman.” Drake laughed as I punched him lightly. We walked and he slipped his hand into mine as I grinned. He tickled me and I tickled him. We kept teasing each other until we reached the doors of the main hall. I opened the door and wished I never had opened it. In front of me was Vincent and he wasn’t alone. Currently he was engaged in a passionate lip lock with a stunning blonde. Her boobs seemed to burst from her black strapless dress; even from here I could tell her blonde hair was a dye. I felt a strong emotion pass through me and realized with surprise that it was jealousy.

I hated Vincent yet I wanted to walk over there and yank the blonde from him. Vincent opened his eyes and caught my gaze. He steadily looked at me and I could tell he was trying to bother me. I hated that it did bother me. I abruptly turned and walked out the door I had entered seconds before. I felt Drake turn in my direction, but I didn’t stop to look back. I started to walk faster and faster. I could feel the anxiety rise up in me but I didn’t care. I heard someone yelling my name but I never turned. I started to run and I could feel my lungs start to fail. My anxiety was overwhelming me; the next thing I knew I was falling and then it was blackness. I vaguely remember someone lifting me up gently and taking me somewhere, but I don’t know where. All I can hear are hushed voices.

“Is she going to be ok?” I recognized the voice. Was it Mark, Drake, or Vincent? I’m pretty sure it was Vincent. What was he doing here? I couldn’t concentrate any longer and drifted into a deep sleep.

Readers!! this one is a short chapter but I hope you like it anywayy!!
PEACE.

Foods That Lower Blood Pressure: Spell Tomatoe, Love Apple

January 12, 2011
By

Eating vegetables is really part of my system. My siblings even annoy me that I am one of those farm animals that love grass. They would even pick up some strands of grass to fool me around. My siblings still tease me up to now whenever my husband and I pay a visit to my family. It does not knock me off from eating my favorite grass. I mean vegetables. Next to Bitter Gourd (ampalaya in Tagalog), my other favorite is Tomato.

Tomato is my family’s favorite vegetable. If you will try to open our fridge, you will see a bunch of tomatoes. We love tomatoes. We love eating them raw with fish sauce, soy sauce, and mangoes. We love combining them to salad, cooking them, and use them as garnishing or toppings. For us it is a whole-year round food. This is the only food that connects me to my siblings and the other way around. One of the benefits that my family got from eating tomato is our healthy skin. When I was younger, it was evident on my skin.

Tomato is a savory, edible plant. Tomato comes in many colors, yellow, green, red, orange, pink, black, brown, ivory, white, and purple; commercially it is red and yellow. Tomato is actually a fruit botanically speaking. It is a vegetable to culinary experts for cooking purposes. Tomato is rich in Lycopene. Lycopene is present in tomatoes and other red fruits and vegetables like carrots, watermelon, and papayas. It is not an essential nutrient in our body; but it is the most powerful antioxidant.

Antioxidant serves as ingredients in dietary supplements in maintaining health and preventing diseases such as cancer, coronary heart disease, and altitude sickness. Antioxidants intensively treat Stroke and Neurodegenerative diseases. It prevents oxidative damage of cellular components such as DNA, proteins and lipids through metabolism and enzyme processes. It is significantly an anti-oxidant protector and promotes optimal health.

Furthermore, tomatoes are very good sources of fiber that lower blood cholesterol level that we can also see on other foods that lower blood pressure like carrots and papayas. It keeps blood sugar on its normal level. It has Vitamin K that prevents hemorrhages. Statistics below prove it.

- A cup of fresh tomato = 57.3% daily value of Vitamin C
-22.4% of the DV for Vitamin A
-7.9% of the DV for fiber
-11.4% of the daily value of potassium
-5.6% of the DV for niacin
-7.0% of the DV for B6
-6.8% of the DV for folate

Tomatoes are available in all countries of the world. It is widely used for culinary purposes. Take advantage the benefits of it. Store some pieces of tomatoes in the kitchen and the fridge. Adding it appropriately in our meals supports the body. We are actually hitting two birds in a stone. We feed ourselves and keep ourselves fit. Love eating tomatoes. It is also a SPELT TOMATOE OR LOVE APPLE in English. Now, how do we spell it, t-o-m-a-t-o.

Who Doesn’t Want To Find Love?

January 11, 2011
By

Everyone who doesn’t have a special someone is trying to find love. Though there are more people in the world, it doesn’t make it any easier to find love. What are the ways that people are looking to find their special someone?

The bar and club scene

Anyone who has ever been out to the bar and club scene knows that is nothing more than a meat market. If you are looking to find love in this kind of setting, well good luck. It seems as if all the pretty people are lined up waiting to be picked. The women really have the upper hand in this venue and they know it. You will see many a lonely guy desperately staring after a contender for Body of the Century, knowing he has no chance at all to find love with that particular dream. The same is said for women visiting a club or a bar. Only the good looking, hot chicks get the guys, and usually pickings are pretty slim in the first place. A bar or a club is good for a quick hook-up or just to meet, dance and hangout with friends. It shouldn’t be thought of as a serious arena to find love.

Classes, clubs and speed dating

Joining a class or a specialty club for something that interests you may seem a great way to find love. The only problem with this is once you join the class or club and see the people in it, if none interest you, there will not be a whole new class or group to choose from the next time you meet. You may learn something new or have fun interacting with people who share your interests, but you probably won’t find love this way.

Speed dating is a whole new monster. You sit and talk to someone for a very short period of time, usually 2-5 minutes, and it is thought you can find love in this way. It doesn’t seem possible, does it? How can you know if you like a person after speaking with them for so little time? How do you know if you would have spent a little more time with someone you may have formed an entirely different opinion about them?

Online dating in the new century

Online dating is becoming popular as well as successful in matching up people who are trying to find love. There are many dating websites that offer profiles of many different types of people who are looking to have fun, get to know new people and some are even looking for a life mate. You can find any number of dating websites that will suit your needs; whether you are looking for a quick fling or a serious romance that may evolve into a life long partnership; you have the best chance to get your love life off the ground when you search for a date or a mate online.

With Love Comes Hate… Or Maybe It’s The Other Way Around – Part 2

“Oh sweet mercy, who is that!” said Kai, my dark haired, curvy, best friend. The rest of the table, including me, whip their heads around for a look. Now as the of those smitten girls began to fawn over the “hunk of man” Kai called out that had entered into my beloved school cafe, I glared. Staring down the jerk who pulled my precious hair and left me alone in some random apartment.

I pushed up from the table and all the girls thought I was about to make a move, more like a scene. “You!” I shouted, pointing my newly manicured finger at him. The entire cafeteria turned and looked at me, but I didn’t care. I watched as a slick smile parted those enticing pouty lips. Damn him! I marched through the crowded tables and straight up to this undeniably cute guy, who pisses me off and say,

“Who the hell do you think you are?” The lunchroom gasped, well the people in it did.

“Joby King.” he said, cooly brushing his hand through his honey locks.

“Oh, so now you have a name! Well… well, I don’t care. Willa Preston doesn’t take kindly to being left in strange rooms. Nor does she like being ignored.”

“But it seems she likes the sound of her own voice, though it’s killing my ears.” Stifled laughs rumbled around the cafe and I shut my mouth from the shock, feeling like I had just been slapped. People say I have a lovely, sweet, kind voice, so I was down right offended at his statement.

I could feel red burning at my pale cheeks. I did not get embarrassed. I was too popular, too cool to be embarrassed. “Screw you.” I said turning away. I didn’t have time to argue with a clearly dimwitted jerk-face, butt-wipe.

“You already did that, and frankly speaking, I’ve had better.” Now he said this loud enough for everyone to hear. I pause mid stride, turning to face his triumphant smile. Better? No one’s better than the best, and I, Willa Ray Preston am the best.

I smiled, coyly, flipping my brown hair, crossing my arms. I was so going to get him for that. “I’m sorry it wasn’t good, but… but I really didn’t have much to work with.” I said winking, making it a point to stare directly down at his “pants”. He looked down with me and awkwardly shifted. I threw my head back and laughed. I win. In the words of Danity Kane: Baby I’m just a bad girl. A bad girl, a bad girl. I settled back into my seat and Joby disappeared from the cafe. I guess he couldn’t take what he dished out.

“So it’s safe to say you climbed that mountain.” Ally, a cute redhead with mood swings of a menopausal fifty year old woman, another friend said. I nodded.

“Yes, and I’d climb it again if he wasn’t such an ass.” I said scooping into my yogurt. I don’t know if I mentioned this or not, but this all went down at breakfast.

“So, it was good, but you just said it wasn’t. I’m confused.” This is Jenna speaking, a girl I hate to say follows her stereotype to a tee. I big breasted, slow witted, blond. Probably the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, but unbelievably, well, stupid, if I may be frank.

“Yes, it was good Jenna.” I said now. “I only said it wasn’t because he was trying to embarrass me, so I had to get a little payback.” She nodded as if she understood, but I’m not completely convinced she did.

Let’s skip ahead a few hours to my free period, which I had alone. Unfortunately for me and my friends all our free periods fell at different times, so we each were on our own at some point in the day. Now during this time I always chill in the library, doing my homework. Yes, I do homework. I don’t want to be stuck in my parents’ wallet my whole life. I can be independent too. So I walk into the library, past the front desk and first stream of tables to the corner table. It was nestled behind a row of bookshelves and across from the abandoned computer lab with all the old computers from the nineties.

I tucked my khaki skirt under my butt and settled into a chair. I pulled out my books and I got to work. I might have been sitting there ten minutes when a tall figure walked through the aisle of books, thinking a school issued bag onto the table.

“Hmm, so she can read.” said an annoying voice. “Oh, and write too. I’m impressed.” I ignored Joby and concentrated on the work in front of me. I didn’t have time to play games. Breakfast was one thing, but I did, as you can see, value my education.

“Not speaking, huh?” he said sitting down opposite me. “That’s a first. So, what are we working on?” He reached over and lifted the side of my open textbook.

“Calculus, very strenuous. Are you sure you have the right book?” More ignoring on my part, but my pen strokes do get more haggard. “Willa? Are you ignoring me now?” I then thought something along the lines of: Yes, glad you can tell, idiot.

“Willa, speak to me. Willa, talk to me. Willa, why did you say my-” I slammed my pen down, full force. I hated when people constantly called my name, not unless it was at a moment of climatic pleasure.

“Joby,” I said his name as calmly as I could, or manage through gritted teeth. “Why are you here?”

“I go to school here, silly.” he said flicking my nose like I had done him. Clearly someone had slipped something into his milk at lunch, for him to be speaking this freely and friendly to me. Or I could have been wrong about him being an ass, but I wasn’t ready to take that risk just yet.

Guard up I said, “Shouldn’t you be in class or something?”

“Shouldn’t you?” he retorted. “Anyway I have a free period.”

“Well, me too.” I said picking up my pen again. “And usually like to take this time and get some work done.” I fanned at my books and he nodded.

“That’s good. Knowing you’re studious, I mean.” he said. “That means I can get mine done too.”

“Back here?”

He nodded again. “Yes, back here. It’s prime studying area. I scoped it out yesterday when I had my tour of the campus.”

“I don’t think the both of us back here is going to work.” I said, because I really didn’t feel like arguing with him everyday.

“Why? We’ll both be working, and this is a library so there is no need for talking.” I sighed. Really the thought of us being in the same room quiet was impossible. Something was bound to happen and it did, but you know how these things go. Nothing is ever as it seems.

High School Love Story (2)

Well you asked for more. Here you go! Enjoy! Comment! Any one know how to put a picture on?

Emily’s P.O.V.

The party went fast. Ryan had to leave early, so it gave me more time to mingle. After the party Chris helped me pick up.

‘Your boyfriend seems…..nice?’ He said after a moment of silence.

‘Yea, sorry about that. He just gets really jealous.’ I say as I put some cups into the large trash bag I was carrying.

‘Yea,’ he smiles. ‘I was kinda afraid he was going to rip my head off for a second there.’

‘So was I.’ I replied. We both laughed as we put the garbage bags outside and sat down on the couch.

‘So what happened to that short little skinny boy?!’ I say admiring his buff arms and chest.

‘Summer.’ He replied with a chuckle. ‘I worked for my father out on the farm. I stayed with him this summer.’ I looked at him curious.

‘Your parents live….’ I trailed off. He was shaking his head.

‘Two years ago.’ He said still smiling.

‘Oh my gosh, Chris!’ I wrapped my arms around him. ‘That’s terrible.’

‘Oh it’s okay. I am over it. It was a while ago.’ He said still smiling.

‘Well it is good you are keeping a smile on,’ I said smiling back at him.

‘Tell me about you.’ He asked. I talked about Via a lot but didn’t bring up much about Ryan. By the time we finished talking it was about ten. When it was time for him to leave I didn’t want him to.

‘It was great seeing you again. I missed you, Christy’ I smile.

‘I thought I told you to stop calling me Christy when we were twelve.’ he said with a smile. ‘I missed you to, Lee Lee.’ He gave me a kiss on the cheek and left.

Does that make me a slut? Wanting another boy to kiss me when I was dating some one else. Shit! I am a slut!
***********************
OCTOBER 30 (Thursday)

Walked into school, There was Chris. I ran up behind him and covered his eyes.

‘Guess who?!’ I whisper

‘Hmm. I have been gone for five years and nothing has changed, EMILY!’ he turned around and gave me a big hug.

“Hey Em.’ I hear from behind. I turn around and Ryan is standing there. not looking at me, but at Chris.

‘Hey honey!’ I kissed Ryan on the cheek playfully.

‘Hey Ryan.’ Chris says smiling.

‘Chris.’ He says turning to me wrapping his arm around my waist leading me elsewhere.

‘Hey, I was talking to him.’ I said mad.

‘Sorry, I just don’t like it when you flirt with him like that.’ He says. I am shocked. Flirt?! Okay I admit I was flirting but I didn’t want him to know that!

‘Okay, I was not flirting. I haven’t seen him in five years and he is my best friend.’ I say pushing his arm off my waist.

‘Baby, Via is your best friend.’ He says.

‘She is. And you are way to controlling.’ The bell rang. ‘Goodbye Ryan.’ I say as I walk away.
*********
Lunch
*********
‘Baby, I am sorry, please!’ He begs. I wish he would shut up. I loved him, yes, but he wouldn’t leave me alone and he acted as if he could control me!

‘Shut up, Ryan, and go away!’ I say taking my lunch and walking away. I leave him there and go and sit by Via and Chris.

‘I think I am breaking up with him.’ I tell them.

‘Why?’ Via asks in a sad tone.

‘Because he said he didn’t want me flirting with Chris,’ this made Chris blush so he ducked his head down to his food. ‘and he says I can’t be best friends with him. He just acts like he can control me!’

‘Well, good.’ She says stuffing some more salad into her mouth.

‘What?’ I asked confused.

‘I see that your never happy any more with him.’ she says.

‘Yea…. I guess.’ I say. Maybe it was time for a break.
************
After school
************
‘Ryan, we need to talk.’ I say pulling him aside.

‘Okay, Shoot.’ He says eager to hear what I have to say.

‘I am not happy any more and I think it would be healthy if we took a break.’ I say. This was a let down to him.

‘Ah,’ he stands there shocked, ‘yea I guess so.’ he finally finishes. I kiss his cheek. ‘Promise me one thing?’ I turn around to look at him. ‘Just…. think about giving me another chance.’ I nodded and walked out of the doors.
***************
Emily’s house.
***************
This was harder than I thought so I called Chris to come over.

‘Are you okay?’ he asks. I shake my head. My mascara is smeared, I have red eyes and sink into his arms as he holds me.

‘I thought it was going to be easy. But obviously not.’ more tears ran down my face. ‘He and I just had so much. Now it’s nothing.’ I say

The cold tears felt good against my burning eyes, but I couldn’t stop crying. What Via said was true. I hadn’t been happy for the last month. He bossed me around and would get way to jealous when it came to my guy friends. So I just cried.

‘How about we watch a funny movie.’ Chris suggests. He knows how much I love movies, especially the funny ones so we put one in and I am feeling better.

About half way threw the movie Chris takes my hand and holds it. I lean into him embracing it. Once the movie was done, I told Chris that I felt better.

‘Are you sure? I can stay if you want.’ he asked. YES YES YES I WANT YOU TO STAY! I thought.

‘No, that’s fine.’ I say back.

‘Okay. Bye Lee Lee.’ He says leaning down to give me a kiss on the cheek but when he pulls away I grab his neck pulling him in to kiss me on the lips. This shocks him. As soon as its over there was awkward silence. ‘I’ll see you tomorrow.’ And he was gone.

I was officially a slut! I need to stop!. I didn’t know if Chris liked the kiss or not. It was confusing. But all I know was that I really like Chris.

Teenage Love – Chapter Two

Chapter Two

Jenny

I drove to school, not bothering to stop by Melissa’s house to pick her up. I couldn’t even look at her after what she had done to me. Of all the people I could imagine Tyler with; Melissa never even crossed my mind.

I parked next to my friends cars. That’s how we usually did it; if we needed to talk to each other after school we didn’t have to look everywhere for them. They were parked right next to me. Tom Shepard, my closest guy friend, was standing in my parking spot with his girlfriend, Leanne Port, Macy Springsteen, another close friend of mine, Steve Benson, the guy who liked Melissa- although I was going to make sure he changed his mind- and some other guy I didn’t recognize. They moved aside so that I could park, and then rushed to me when I got out of the car. I pulled my sunglasses off and leaned against my car, staring at the ground.

“Where’s Melissa?” Scott asked. I wasn’t surprised he did.
“I have to tell you guys something. And Tyler won’t be parking here today, so make sure his spot gets taken,” I told them, standing up straight.
“Jenny, this doesn’t sound good,” Macy said.
I sighed. “It’s not,” I admitted. “I caught Melissa and Tyler having sex at Tyler’s house. He was cheating on me with my best friend.” I still couldn’t even wrap that fact around my mind. Melissa did that to me?
“No. Effen. Way,” Leanne said. “Are you kidding? Tyler Jones, that sweetie, did that to you?”

“Leanne, he’s not such a sweetie. Not after we took him in and made him such a big shot. And did anyone expect this of Melissa?” Scott was staring at the floor, disappointed. “Scott there is a million other girls out there dying for you to go for them. This just means that Melissa wasn’t good enough for you. Don’t feel bad.”
Scott chuckled. “Man, I hate it when you talk all inspirational and shit. And the worst part is that you’re right.”
“Thanks,” I said.

“What are you brewing up for them?” Tom asked with maliciousness in his eyes. I smiled slyly. Every time someone embarrassed me or made me look bad didn’t just do it and get away with it. They pay a huge price.
“Well, for Melissa I wanted to do something dirty. I’m still thinking about that. But for Tyler I was planning on doing nothing. He’s going to be rejected by us because we don’t stand for people who cheat us like that,” I picked out my friends with specific personalities. They’re popular, they’re hot, they’re smart, and most of all they’re respectful. “He’s also going to be rejected by his former friends for ditching them to hang out with the IN crowd and not bringing them along. Then he goes back to his dorky self with no friends and no nothing. That would make him miserable.”

“Jen, that’s the smartest plan ever. And I want to be there when it’s Melissa’s turn,” Leanne said. “I’ve always hated her and you all knew that.” We all nodded.
“I guess you’re instincts are always right Lea,” Tom said, kissing her. The boy standing behind Tom looked at them longingly. Maybe he was missing his own girlfriend or something. I wonder who he is. He looks exotic for some reason, not like tropical or anything, but it’s obvious he’s not from around here. But he was really cute. He had dark brown hair and entrancing green eyes. He was really tall and had an amazing, strong, sexy build.

“Um, Tom who’s your friend? I’ve never seen him before,” I said.
“Oh, Jen this is my buddy Will Kurt. Will, this is my best girl friend, Jenny Garth. He’s from Minnesota and he’s here for college next year.” I shook his hand.
“It’s nice to meet you Will,” I said, staring into the green eyes. I imagined myself in a rain forest with nothing other than green around me. That’s how stupefying they were. Something weird happened when my skin touched his. Suddenly my whole body was hot and I could feel heat rushing up my neck. I pulled away fast.
“Nice to meet you, too,” said Will. Was…was that and English accent? Oh God, Tom. Did you bring him here so I could faint? I was ker-azy for guys with accents.

Just then Tyler’s car turned into the lot. We all stood still in his space, not moving when he honked his horn for us to move. He understood that I wasn’t going to let him get away with what he did just like that, and drove to the other end of the school. “It’s okay Jenny. We got you your back,” said Tom, kissing my cheek. He and Leanne walked into the building with his friend, Will, right behind them. Macy took Scott’s hand then mine and we followed our friends inside.

Our group of friends, I mean Scott, Tom, Macy, Leanne, and me, all had our schedules worked out so that we had all the same classes. When you have parents that are big in the city and your mom’s a constant volunteer at all your schools, they have a say in things. Now there’s a new addition into the group; Will Kurt. And two others have been kicked out; Melissa Park and Tyler Jones. We all walked to class. We were the first people there; Mr. Keller still didn’t have our schedule posted on the board yet.
“Good morning,” Keller said, greeting us. We were his top students and we were all basically best friends with all of our teachers and counselors. “Would you just take care of the room? I want to run to Tim Hortons and grab a cup of coffee.” He talked about his classroom like it was a little misbehaving child.

“Sure,” we said. I sat in my char. Tom sat on my desk with Leanne in his lap, Scott stood behind us, and Macy was standing next to me. Will was standing next to Tom. He looked uncomfortable and left out. “What’s the plan Jen?” Scott asked. “How are we supposed to get that kid back?”
“Wow, is it necessary to be that tough on the boy?” Tom’s friend asked. “Isn’t it enough you left him?”
“Actually, the only reason he befriended us to become popular. He wanted a name and Jenny is the one who gave it to him,” Tom explained to him. “He was using us all. And when Jenny wouldn’t give in to him when he wanted to get her in bed, he used her friend Melissa for pleasure. All of us have been friends since elementary school and it’s part of the bond we share that we have each others backs.”

“In that case, you have a right to hurt him,” Will said, changing his mind. I nodded, then the bell rang and students began pouring in. A few minutes later Keller walked in with trays of coffee. He handed one to Tom, Will, Macy, Scott, Leanne, and me.
“Thanks for watching the room,” he said, walking to the front of the class. Tyler was sitting right in front of me. I could see him squirm uncomfortably in his seat. He could feel that this day wasn’t going to go by without any pain. I looked left at Melissa’s seat. She still wasn’t here. Did she think that I was still going to talk to her and give her rides after what she did?
Halfway into the hour Melissa showed up. She walked right to her seat and looked at me. “I’m sorry,” she mouthed when Keller turned away. I just shook my head and pretended to listen to Keller’s lecture.

During lunch we sat at our regular table with the rest of our friends. The Bunch and I made sure we got there before Melissa and Tyler, spreading out across the table to take up all the left over space. All we had to do was sit Will in Tyler’s usual spot and pile our backpacks on Melissa’s. We would wait to get lunch after they had come and gone.
“So Will, you’re from Minnesota but why do you have an English accent?” I asked.
“I was born in London, England so my parents are all English. But when I was seven years old they moved to Minnesota for reasons unknown. I never learned American,” he explained.

“Why would your parents move from London to… this place?” I asked. “People dream of traveling to London. And here you are, a lucky boy who was born there and had the chance to live there, yet you come to America.”
Will sighed. “I don’t want to be here. In Michigan, I mean.”
“Why?” I asked. “Canton is a really nice place. Everything you need to be living the life is here.”
“I’m not looking for the perfect life,” he told me. “I’m here for an education so I could live a good life with my girlfriend.”
Hearing he had a girlfriend shocked me. I mean, of course someone like him would be taken, but I guess he was just so cute that I wanted someone who looked like that to be mine. “O-oh. So you’re engaged?”

“No,” he said laughing, like it was a ridiculous idea. “We’re not at that stage yet. But we are committed to each other. We love each other very much, and we plan on living together for a few months or years before we decide whether or not we want to live together and that that’s the life we both want.”
“Wow, it sounds like you have your whole future planned out ahead of you,” I said.
He nodded. “It’s good to start thinking about your life early.”
“You sound very… confident that everything you’re planning will work out the way you want it.” He nodded. “Well, what if things don’t work out that way, what would you do?”
“I’m very optimistic they will,” he assured me.

“Don’t you have an alternative plan, another road to go down incase the first one isn’t right?”
“I told you,” he said, “Lily and I are in love. There is nothing that could separate us.”
“People say long distance relationships don’t always work out. You think yours will be special one that will?”
“Why am I being interrogated by you?” Will asked, simply annoyed. “What does my love life matter to you?”

I turned red. I have never been scolded before. “I-I was only curious,” I said quietly.
Will sighed. “Listen, I’m sorry. It’s just that I don’t want to be here, and now you’re giving more reason not to be here by making me doubt the way I’m running my life.”
“I won’t bother you anymore, I promise.” He smiled politely at me and I just smiled back. Maybe I was being a slight bother, pestering him for things I had no reason to be prying about. I was just curious.

Never have I met a guy who had the rest of his life planned out and was working for it to start. And it just made me wonder why. Why would someone waster their life on one person when they have years and years ahead of them to decide who’s right and who’s wrong? Why would someone plan their whole life out at eighteen when they have no idea what’s going to happen in the future? Will might end up dumping his girlfriend for some girl here, and decide he doesn’t want to move back to Minnesota. He might change his mind about what he wants to study, and where he wants to work. You never know what’s going to happen in life and people who think they do know bother me.

Will

That Jenny girl was a talker. But I admired her for her acquisitiveness. In my opinion it was nice for people to learn about another’s life to get ideas of their own. But when she started talking to me about long distance relationships and how they never work I wanted her stop right there. She didn’t know Lily and me. She had no idea how perfect we were for each other.
I felt sorry for telling her to shut up so rudely, but she wasn’t being very respectful herself.
Seconds later there was a lot of commotion on the table. Everyone’s heads turned towards the lunch room doors where the kid from the parking lot-I think his name was Tyler- was entering the room. He had his head held high and his chest popped out. I stifled a laugh. His movements were so obvious they were rehearsed. They were very over dramatic.

As he neared people got back to what they were doing before, chattering away as if nothing had happened. Tyler leaned down and took hold of Jenny’s arm. “Can I talk to you?” he whispered to her. I just couldn’t help but overhear. She was sitting right next to me.
Jenny pulled away from him like he was something very gross. “Leave right now. I told you I never want to speak to you again.”

“Jen, listen to me. Just hear me out, okay?” he begged. Jenny rolled her eyes and walked away with him just a few feet from our table. I tried to listen in on what they were saying, I just couldn’t help it. It was like a movie where you can’t wait to find out whether the main characters end up together not. I couldn’t catch anything they were saying, but minutes later Jenny was shouting.
“You expect me to go out with you when you were fucking my best friend during our whole relationship?” she was yelling. All eyes were on them two. “Are you really that stupid, or do I look two years old to you?”

“Lower your voice…”
“No,” she shouted again. “Let everyone here hear what a sick bastard you really are.” He swung a fist at her face and she fell onto the tiled floor. I stared at him disbelievingly and ran up to confront him while Tom helped Jenny up.
“Dude, I understand how you feel, but that gives you no right to hit a girl. You just insult yourself,” I told him.

“Man stay out of me and my girlfriends business, alright? What’s the new kid going to do to me for arguing with my girl?”
“Shut up,” Jenny screamed. Tears rolled down her face. “Never call me your girl again. Just forget the two of us ever happened.”
“Girl if you weren’t so worried about staying a virgin until you get married none of this would have happened,” Tyler shouted at her. She gasped, covering her mouth with her hand. Leanne ran up to her side and helped her out of the cafeteria.

“Do you not know what limits are?” Tom asked him, fury masking his face. “We understood you were a bitch from Jenny, but now I think no word can describe what a sick animal you are.” People had gathered round, cheering us on with ‘FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!’
“I already feel sorry for the whore who takes you next,” I muttered to him. He got up in my face and shoved me.

“Jeez new kid, you have got some balls.” I stood up and stared at him. I knew I shouldn’t be doing this. I wasn’t the violent type, and I was very patient. This kid right here though really didn’t know what his limits were. He just wanted to keep on going.
“Will, sit down bro. It’s your first day, you don’t want to get suspended already,” Tom said, trying to calm me down. I agreed with him. I was here to learn, not be part of a couple’s drama. I kept staring at Tyler though until he grunted and rushed out of the lunch room. Then there were shouts coming from outside the door. Tom made sure he was the first to get there.

“What’s going on now?” I asked Macy, one of Tom’s friends.
“Tyler saw Jenny here with Leanne and he started shouting about how she’s such a disappointment, and sucks at… things.”
“He’s a very thick headed boy,” I said.
“I swear to you no one knew he was like this. Not even Jenny and she was the closest one to him,” Macy told me.

I though about Jenny’s plan. She had just wanted to embarrass Tyler in front his friends and the school. But in the end what she had planned didn’t turn out as she had expected it to. I wondered did she know that something was going go awry, or did she think everything was going to run smoothly, just like I expect my future to go?

Anti Cellulite Diet – Get Rid of Cellulite by Eating the Foods You Love!

Believe it or not, you can actually rid your body of cellulite by eating. You will not be able to eat anything and everything you want of course, but that doesn’t have to stop you from enjoying some of your favorite food dishes – in fact, some of those dishes might actually help to remove cellulite from your body!

Regular diets don’t work, why should an anti cellulite diet be any different?

Simply because of the diet’s massive cleansing and strengthening benefits. If a cellulite diet is made up of the right foods, which are proven to fight against and prevent cellulite, then the diet is sure to be a success; as it will begin working to rid your body of toxins and unneeded fats and then it’ll work on improving the bodies resiliency to cellulite build up.

How do I know what foods I should include in my diet plan?

The odds are, you don’t have the faintest clue about which types of foods you should add or remove from your anti cellulite diet. But fortunately, you won’t have to worry about that too much; after all, that’s why you’ve got the internet. With a few quick online searches, you can find out everything you need to know about anti cellulite diets; such as the right foods to eat, foods to avoid, how long to stay on the diet, whether or not you should combine your diet plan with exercise, etc.

“You’re telling me to do more research? That isn’t very helpful!” To be honest, that is the only answer that can be of any help; anything more and you’d likely want to quit your cellulite dieting goals. With all the different types of anti cellulite diet foods out there, as well as all the tricks and tips, it is virtually impossible to list them all here in detail. As a matter of fact, if all that information were to be listed here, your eyes and head would probably begin to hurt from the sheer amount of information you’d try to absorb. Hence, do the research on your own time and move at a pace you are comfortable with. Trying to become an expert on anti cellulite diets overnight isn’t just unwise, it’s downright foolish. Why? Simply because overloading yourself on information is guaranteed way to give up on a cellulite diet plan altogether. In fact, information overload is the top cause of why natural cellulite remedies are commonly given up.

Can you name a few effective anti cellulite foods?

Fish is an excellent example, as it is a “one-food-army” when it comes to getting rid of cellulite. To effectively combat cellulite, the body needs essential fatty acids; many of which are present in fatty fish and fish oils. These fatty acids offer immense help when it comes to improving the skin’s texture and tone, as they work to repair and improve skin cells. Improved skin cells results in improved skin quality!

Nuts are another great anti cellulite diet food because of their large doses of fiber, protein, and beneficial fat. Unfortunately though, nuts can be quite fattening (actual fat – not cellulite) if you overindulge; therefore, if you overindulge yourself in tasty nuts, you will likely undue the positive effects you gained from eating them. A handful or two of nuts should be more than enough.
