Resveratrol dosage information

Have you observed that every medication you take contains a helpful reminder of how much to consume and what hour to take it? The reason is to avoid over dosage of your medication. You do not want to feel more pain than what you are experiencing at a particular moment, do you?

At the present time, there are various new discoveries about natural and effective medicines that provide more health benefits than those you have been previously using. One of them is resveratrol. Before starting off with the resveratrol dosage information, let us check out a brief history first.

This medicinal herb has been used by the early Japanese in their daily regimen since many years now. In fact, this was discovered by them in the late 1900s.

It was easy for them to stumble into such marvelous herb. It is because resveratrol are found in Japanese Knotweed plant that grows abundantly in Japan. This plant is known as ko-jo-kon in Japanese and polygonum capsidatum in Latin.

This plant is rich in resveratrol which is a powerful active ingredient that works as an anti-oxidant, anti-mutagen and anti-inflammatory. It is such a potent substance that it is believed to heal almost every ailment.

More and more studies reveal that resveratrol improves the heart and circulatory systems. Thus, this potential compound is ideal to those who are at the risk of heart ailments.

Another experiment reveals that this active ingredient also helps in preventing and reducing the growth of abnormal cancer cells. Studies show that resveratrol allows the body to produce more enzymes that guard the secretion of unhealthy and toxic substances. These enzymes may very well protect your body from serious diseases.

Knowing its benefits is half the fact, finding the sources of resveratrol may complete the information. So where do you get these resveratrol?

Scientists claim that resveratrol are not only contained in the Japanese Knotweed plant but also in common products that are mostly found everywhere. Some of these are grapes, red wine, purple grape juice, peanuts, cranberries, blueberries, mulberries and raspberries.

In fact, the skin of grapes contains high level of resveratrol substances. That explains why health experts recommend you to drink red wine.

So how do you know the correct resveratrol dosage information? Do you take three bottles of red wine to get the health benefits you desire?

Studies have shown that there are no over dosage in taking resveratrol. Meaning, you can take as much as you want. But health experts recommend taking 250 milligrams a day of resveratrol.

Unlike other products which need to be taken in the prescribed quantity only, resveratrol dosage information is something that can be dealt with a bit leniency here. After all there are no side effects that it can cause.

Diet Plans To Lose Weight Fast – Stop 3 Bad Eating Habits First

January 22, 2011
By

You are what you eat. This statement can’t be further from the truth. If you have been eating at irregular time intervals, doing binge eating or simply eating fatty and junk foods regularly and not exercising, don’t be surprised when you look yourself in the mirror and see a big gut with time. Let’s take a look at those bad eating habits:

(1) Irregular Eating Patterns

Eating at irregular time intervals isn’t healthy and won’t be beneficial for your metabolism. Your body needs to adjust yourself to a regular eating routine. The reason is by sticking to a consistent nutrition habit, your metabolism levels will increase and it will have a positive effect on your weight loss goals. People with faster metabolism are more prone to burning fat even while remaining idle. So try eating at regular time intervals.

(2) Binge Eating

This eating disorder might not really be a disease but simply a really bad habit. People with this kind of disorder tend to overeat every time, hence in a single meal, their food intake is very high and loaded with calories in just 1 meal. Too many calories in one meal is detrimental to your weight loss efforts.

(3) Fatty and Junk Foods

Junk foods are usually loaded with fats, sugars and sodium. Fats contain more calories than protein or carbohydrate for instance and you want a calorie deficit per meal not a calorie surplus. And too much sugar is bad for weight. Sugar activates the pancreas and the latter produces insulin which is an enzyme for digestion. But when your insulin levels raise too much due to too much sugar intake, it makes your body prone to storing more fat. As a result, drinking soda regularly is bad as well due to the fact that it’s loaded with sugars and this can lead to weight gain and obesity in the long run. As for sodium, the latter is bad if you intend to lose weight fast. Sodium causes water retention and water adds weight. Sodium is usually found in canned foods, fast foods, deli meats, processed meats, soya sauce etc… Also, too much sodium will cause high blood pressure increasing your risk for stroke and heart attack. So if you use to make regular trips to your favorite fast food chain, that’s not advisable.

Now that you see the negative impact of poor nutrition, it’s time to start taking action. The first things that can come in your mind are changing your diet drastically and starving yourself and trying to eat as little as possible everyday. The latter isn’t recommended at all. Not only will it make you weak, deprive yourself of energy that you need, it won’t help you lose weight like you think it should. Also, foods provide your body with energy and without this “fuel”, you’re unlikely to perform your daily activities like you should. For sure you should change your diet as this is the better alternative. You need a healthy balanced diet. Have several diet plans to lose weight fast if you want so that your nutrition does not get boring.

We Need to Start a Social Revolution By Truly Putting Children First

January 21, 2011
By

It was a piece of breathtaking cheek and bare-faced larceny when David Cameron pledged to “Make British poverty history” this week, stealing Gordon Brown’s slogan and Labour’s policy stronghold. Cameron snatched the starting day of a month of action on child poverty, run by the End Child Poverty campaign, an umbrella group of 90 children’s charities originally assembled by Gordon Brown himself, as a counterweight against other spending demands. This year it plainly didn’t work: poor children got 48p a week, while the well-off middle-aged got a £1.4bn inheritance windfall. Symbolically, that suggested the fight against growing inequality was politically lost.

So it was a good time for Cameron to pounce, as ever astute at firing unexpected mortars into weak spots in the heart of the Brown camp. Most of Cameron’s speech was a litany of gross distortions, fantasy accounting, ominous threats on US-style welfare reforms with no road map for eradicating poverty, but it was a clever piece of politics. His centerpiece £3bn (unfunded) plan to pay extra tax credits only to couples came unstuck yesterday. The Institute for Fiscal Studies calculated that if his £3bn were instead to be spent on credits for poor children it would lift 700,000 children out of poverty, more than twice as many as his plan would. That would almost reach the government’s 2010 children poverty goal, so Cameron’s plan is an expensively wasteful gesture.

However, floating like a butterfly, stinging like a bee, David Cameron manages to say things labor never dares: “Poverty is not acceptable … not when we have people who earn more in a lunchtime than millions earn in a lifetime.” It was only a neat phrase, backed by no policy, teasing labor, which never dares say anything like it.

End Child Poverty’s campaign launch coincided with yet more dismal reports revealing how deeply British life is riven by class, the gulf growing wider, blighting many children’s chances. Ofsted spelled out the stark social, economic and racial divide that determines how well children do at school: low-income children are half as likely to get five good GCSEs as the well-heeled.

The Foresight report on obesity told much the same story: class is health and fitness destiny too. Twice as many girls in the lowest fifth as in the richest fifth of the population are obese. The government target to stop children getting fatter by 2010 has slipped back to 2020 – the same date for abolishing all child poverty, a neat synergy. If nothing is done it will be lethally worse by 2050, and not just among the poor. Some sensible and easy things can be done – no more advertising of rubbish food to children on TV or anywhere else, traffic-light warning codes for high-calorie food, naming and shaming of supermarkets that don’t do it.

Would that make much difference? Every little helps, as they say. But frankly, the task is gargantuan, much harder than getting the nation to stop smoking: you can’t “just say no” to eating. Consider the power of all entertainment, fashion, sporting and playground culture in the west telling us fat is ugly, yet it fails to keep us thin. Polls show most women are miserable about their bodies, young girls more so, boys too, yet a gigantic diet industry is a failure. Something deeper is at work.

What can mere government do when all that social pressure fails? The Foresight report is right to be circumspect about solutions. Given such an intractable problem, school cookery lessons, or removing sweets from supermarket checkouts sound pathetically weak.

What is needed now is nothing less than a national culture change, embracing every aspect of life. Step back and look which nations have the fewest obesity problems. You guessed it, it’s the Nordic countries, where social divisions are narrower. Fat is a class issue. Obesity is mainly a disorder of the less well off, an added stigma to a life of low esteem, making a poor life worse. Revealing epidemiological research in Richard Wilkinson’s The Impact of Inequality shows how being at the bottom makes people sick, prone to obesity, heart disease and diabetes.

Whether it is obesity, drug addiction, drink, mental health or children leaving school uneducated, the country scrambles to correct the dysfunctions of class divisions without ever talking about it. David Cameron, in his poverty speech, said crassly: “Aspiration is not about class, background or position.” But everything in Britain is about class, report after report hammers it home. Results will never significantly improve until the distance between the top and bottom starts to narrow.

But the politics of the times seem bent on denying it. It is not a winning message with voters increasingly beguiled by the American dream: even the poor themselves are fooled into believing anyone can make it if they try. They can, of course – like anyone can win the lottery. Overwhelming evidence that family is usually destiny is counter-intuitive when people wrongly think Britain is becoming more, not less, meritocratic. Focus groups show people doubt there is poverty, or if there is, the feckless are to blame for their failure. Parties no longer dare speak the politics of class, but only of “aspiration”, now that the middle-class is all that counts electorally. The loss of the inheritance tax argument seemed to sound the last post on the politics of class and social justice. So is that it, time to give up?

Both these reports and the shocking Unicef revelations on UK children suggest another way. labor has embarked on it, but often forgets it. Ed Balls in a speech to directors of children’s services this week revived it, talking of a “revolution” to put “children at the center of policy”. Imagine if Britain really did it, with every department dedicated to just that, Labor’s single national goal, its one big message and best narrative flowing through everything. Children are the key that unlocks ideas of social justice.

Putting children first would be a social revolution, redesigning everything, turning the world on its head. Walking and cycling in streets safe enough for any unaccompanied young child going to school would take priority over cars, parks over car parks, buses over 4x4s. Youth centers that were palaces of pleasure, where arts, sports, drama, dance and fun would take priority over adult pleasures in the neighborhood. Children’s centers, still a fledgling program, would be community hubs from before every baby was born. (A report this week finds the first year of a baby’s life is most mothers’ loneliest time.) Supermarkets would indeed be required to hide away the bad and promote the healthy, with a state unashamed to be the good nanny and raise drink prices steeply. Banning smoking and the London congestion charge show how cultures can be changed, if government has the nerve to do it.

With children as the focus, universal children’s services would need to be good enough to be appreciated by rich and poor alike. That means the best childcare and nurseries, better subsidized for all, with breakfast clubs and extended afternoon schools that really do match the activities of middle-class children. All these would make it a politically possible national goal that every child in every family should have the very best of everything. It is the Nordic, not the American dream to sell to this tax-averse nation. But in the name of everyone’s children, it might be done, if they had the nerve.

Global Exchange Dispute Brazil Won the First Battle

January 21, 2011
By

Their territories brave victory, which in the global “currency war” is no exception.

Local time on October 28, Brazilian Finance Minister Mantega Brazilian newspaper in an interview that Brazil plans to next month’s Group of 20 (G20) meeting was proposed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to create a use to measure the index of exchange rate manipulation.

Mantega said that the index will be used to identify which countries their exchange rate artificially low to boost exports, currency manipulation by countries are considered the need to reduce interference, or the World Trade Organization (WTO) would then be able to its “illegal subsidy” to the sanctions .

He said, “WTO is actually a business that is manipulating the exchange rate subsidies, (countries) must avoid such acts, otherwise they will be met with sanctions.”

Mantega also to Japan and Korea, for example, that countries are taking steps to let its currency depreciate. However, criticism of the developed countries in the monetary policy, exchange rate Mantega also fierce battle front war, and so far has yielded fruitful results.

TCW Chief Global Strategist Komal Sri-Kumar told this reporter last week, the exchange rate G20 countries promised not to fight the war, many finance ministers have hinted this week will further intervention in foreign exchange markets, which means that the exchange rate will continue for the next war.

Brazil: Brazilian real against the dollar’s gains reversed

Competing in various countries to devalue the exchange rate war, Brazil has always been at the forefront of the fighting.

A month ago, Mantega publicly declared that war had broken out of global currency, language shock the world. He said the national currencies generally weakened the competitiveness of Brazil’s threat.

This year in mid-June to October, the Brazilian real against the U.S. currency rose as much as 12%. Together with the U.S. benchmark interest rate close to zero compared to the benchmark interest rate up to 10.75% in Brazil.

Coupled with high interest rates and currency appreciation, international investors in the carry trade have the influx of Brazil. Brazil’s central bank website based on the data flow to Brazil in September this year, fixed-income market size up to 24.1 billion in January this year four times. This further exacerbated the real upward trend.

Brazil’s central bank and the Ministry of Finance work together, and take strong countermeasures.

Brazil’s central bank in September bought a total of 4.2 billion, but in order to further weaken the dollar, as of October 15, the scale of the Brazilian central bank dollar purchases have risen to 108 billion U.S. dollars.

Oct. 5, Brazilian Ministry of Finance, the foreign investors to buy its fixed-income tax rate from 2% to 4%. Two weeks later, the government further increased the rate to 6%.

Mantega October 18, said foreign investors to buy fixed income tax rate may further improve the future, and Brazil is also considering other measures to ward off the hot money into Brazil.

Bank of America, a study in the day quips, the Brazilian government can not resist the developed ultra-low interest rates, “it is impossible to fight a war.”

But two weeks time, however, Wall Street to change its position.

“Mantega very hard to fight and win the struggle.” Citigroup Latin America strategist Dirk Willer said recently, “If you and him fight, you need to know what he will do next. Mantega people I believe he will continue to have new tactics to appear, so you do not know when in the end is the end. and this has completely changed the market psychology. “

Since from October 13, the real depreciation of the dollar began to accelerate, has been devalued by about 3%. Since this month, the real 16 major currencies on the global decline of 0.5%. This is since January this year, the real first time on the world’s major currencies fell.

This also means that the initial government interventions have been effective. Brazil’s stock exchange data show that international investors last week, a total of $ 4,000,000,000 cut to do Duo Baxi market positions.

October 25, he said the recent performance of real good, if necessary, the future will use more weapons to organize real prices.

Japan: embracing quantitative easing in the second quarter

There will be winners on the battlefield there are losers.

Mantega naming the foreign exchange market intervention in Japan and Korea, but so far, the two efforts to weaken the currency did not get good results.

September 15 this year, the Japanese foreign exchange market sell-off in about 2 trillion yen buying dollars, which is the first time since 2004 the Japanese intervention in the foreign exchange market.

But since then, the yen continued to rise against the U.S. dollar still has now risen 4.7%, creating a 15-year high, and has been near record levels.

South Korea Planning Minister Yoon Jeung-hyun said this month that the Government is ready to inhibit the inflow of capital, including taxes on foreign bond investors.

Interestingly, the Japanese intervention in the Republic of Korea is also very dissatisfied with Japan’s Finance Minister Ye Tian Jiayan October 13 accuse South Korea “on a regular basis to intervene in foreign exchange to the country’s position as Chairman of G20 is facing serious questions.”

For Japan’s intervention, wild Tianjia Yan argues that Japan’s foreign exchange market intervention to limit excessive volatility in the yen, with Korea and other economies have taken the essential difference between regular intervention.

But Japan’s “occasional” intervention, after all, results are poor, they also began to consider adjusting the strategy.

October 28, the Monetary Board reiterated the Bank of Japan to maintain the current benchmark interest rate close. Fang Ming Sea of Japan central bank governor also said that if the economy deteriorated, the Bank of Japan may further consider expanding the current 5 trillion yen in assets purchase program.

Meanwhile, the Bank of Japan announced that its next monetary policy meeting ahead of time 11 days to November 4th, the day after the Federal Reserve monetary policy.

The market expected the Fed will start in the November 3 second round of the quantitative easing policy, announced that the next few months to buy hundreds of billions of dollars in assets. Bank of Japan monetary meeting time to adjust, allowing them the quantitative easing policy of the United States after the publication of a timely response to any market fluctuations.

If the yen hit a record high against the dollar, the Bank of Japan will be more difficult to control the yen. Wall Street joke that has to determine the yen the dollar is mainly to see what the country’s “money machine” even more.

In the last weekend G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors, countries pledged to avoid competitive currency devaluation, and guard against excessive volatility and disorderly exchange rate changes.

Ye Tian Jiayan Japanese Finance Minister, said he believes that “alert” means that countries will pay close attention to market trends, if necessary, to continue to take appropriate coordinated actions.

Bank of New York Mellon currency strategist Neil Mellor also called for US-Japan coordination of actions send a strong signal to the outside world that they are willing to abide by the commitments G20.

Mellor said it is considering the U.S. Treasury to buy U.S. dollars when shot, and now close to a record low dollar against the yen, which support the dollar for the government actions to reverse the trend of providing opportunity.

A Bride’s Cookbook or Surviving the First Year

January 21, 2011
By

Identifying a growing and concerning trend, author Nancy Geiger, has written a cookbook aimed at helping new couples create and maintain healthy and relaxed eating habits. Geiger sees a real need to promote the health, fun and intimacy building aspects of learning to cook in the home as many of today’s newlyweds have not had an opportunity to develop these skills in today’s fast-paced always on-the-go family environment.

“With newly married couples both typically working full time they tend to grab fast food on the way home from work or go to “nice” restaurants where the bill can be anywhere from $20 to $100 or more. Under the impression perhaps that the nicer restaurants are better health options, they don’t think about the huge portions or the fact that many items have a lot of fat and salt in them.” Geiger notes, “One recent magazine article pointed out that the typical restaurant entree serves up to 60% more calories than the homemade versions. This is adding to the national problem of obesity.”

“Many brides today, especially if they do have a full time job out of the house, feel that cooking dinner is too time consuming and difficult. What they don’t stop to realize is that it takes longer driving to a restaurant, ordering, waiting for the meal to be prepared and returning, than to prepare and enjoy dinner at home. They miss out on the best part of eating dinner: relaxing and sharing your day with another person.” She added.
Geiger believes by teaching people just starting out in a new marriage, they will develop the habit of sitting down to a healthy and relaxing meals, creating the down-time and intimacy that will bind them together for a healthy marriage too!

So she wrote a cookbook for brides.

Having always loved to cook Geiger started collecting recipes as a teen. She married into the army and spent her first 3 years overseas in Germany where entertaining friends (both American and European) became an almost daily affair. While their husbands spent time away on military exercises, the wives would entertain each other hosting showers, coffees, potlucks, and planning parties on our husbands’ return. They shared favorite recipes and tested all sorts of fun entertaining ideas constantly.
Since leaving the army she has continued to enjoy cooking and entertaining using any excuse she can think of to do so. She’s found that her guests enjoy themselves much more when she is relaxing and having a good time too.

Many guests over the years have asked how she makes entertaining seem so effortless which led her to collect these thoughts and methods, and ultimately share many of them with others. The easier you make it, Geiger believes, the more fun for everyone!

Over the years, she has also added healthy eating and diet as an interest, again after getting lots of questions from friends and guests asking how she stays so fit while always entertaining. Not having realized it, Geiger had just naturally incorporated health and nutrition into her cooking and entertaining without even a conscious thought. “Eating healthy can be a normal and routine part of your meal planning for both you and your guests, without sacrificing anything. It is truly easy to eat healthier!” Geiger says.

‘A Bride’s Cookbook or Surviving the First Year’ shows newlyweds how to save time, money and stress by cooking quick, easy and healthy meals for two in their own home. Once they have mastered that the book leads them in to dinners for four and creative and easy parties. It explains how to stock their pantries, substitute ingredients and fold dinner napkins. There are lists of culinary terms and calorie charts.

The book is in both e-book format and in a print on demand version. Many women today have their computers in the kitchen and like the ease of pulling a recipe up. E-books have a search feature that helps the reader go directly to what she is looking for. People can also download an e-book within minutes. But, Geiger realizes many people will want the book in print version as a Bridal Shower or Wedding Gift so it is available with a wire spiral spine so that it will lie open easily.

The print version of the book may be found at Geiger’s online store, givitup: www.givitup.com/ And the e-book version at: abridescookbook.com

First Aid To The Rescue

January 12, 2011
By

When someone is in need of immediate medical assistance or they are sick or injured, first aid can be used to help. Knowing basic first aid can allow you to provide help in an emergency situation until a paramedic arrives or you get to a hospital. Also basic first aid can allow you to tend to a sick or injured person. First Aid teaches you to always be prepared for an accident or emergency situation.

There are a number of places that offer first aid teaching and you can easily find information on basic first aid rules. If you decide to sign up for a first aid course in order to become certified in providing first aid, you will have the opportunity to learn about stopping an open wound from bleeding, immobilizing a possible broken limb, and administering CPR to someone who is unconscious. You will even find out information on what to do when someone is choking or poisoned, and how and when to call for help. Since it can be easy to forget basic first aid in an emergency situation, you always want to keep a first aid manual handy.

Calling for Help

When learning basic first aid you will find out about assessing situations to decide whether you should intervene, or whether it is better to just call for help. Whenever you are unsure how severe an injury is, call 9-1-1 immediately. It is much better to find out that person if find and doesn’t need medical attention than to not call and risk further harming the injured person. After calling 9-1-1, you can administer any first aid that you feel would help make the person more comfortable or secure. In order to always be prepared you will want to keep a first aid kit close by either in your car or home.

A good first aid kit consists of: Pain relievers (antihistamines, stomach medications), bandages (all sizes), antibiotic ointment, hot/cold compresses, outdoor supplies (supplies for an insect sting, sunburn, poison ivy, and heat exhaustion), items for accidental poisoning, tweezers, scissors, thermometer, etc. With all your supplies at hand, it will be a lot easier to administer first aid and help prevent an emergency situation from getting worse. Don’t forget to keep a first aid manual and emergency phone numbers handy. For more information on first aid and emergency situations look online. You never know when an emergency will come your way.

Changing in the levels of estrogen and progesterone can result in a number of signs. One may pass through these troubles with little or no trouble at all. All the signs like hot flashes or sleep disorders are menopause signs. The most common menopause signs include:

Irregular periods

They may get irregular, lighter or sometimes heavier. All these are quite common. One may face excessive bleeding for many days or even spotting between periods may also occur. However, one must consult the doctor if any of these gets troublesome.

One may also become prone to have infection in vagina. With the older age, one starts to experience urinary tract problems. Stolen: Part 1: Chapter 3 The First Attempt

January 2, 2011
By

It had been nearly three days since Courtney had worked up her plan. Matt was still in the holes and probably would not get out for at least another week and that was if he was lucky. Daron was none to happy that Matt had intruded on his disciplining a second time. Courtney had to get him out.

At lunch Courtney snuck past the guards and outside. Her legs pumped with adrenaline as she ran towards the wholes. When she got there she could not find Matt any where. He was not in the wholes! That meant he was in the dungeon and Courtney would have to wait.

Turning around sulkily Courtney ran straight into Matt. He was sweaty and covered in muck. His brown hair was a knotted mess. He was a disaster. Except, for his eyes. They sparkled as much as ever at the sight of Courtney. The gold in them seemed liquid.

“Courtney!” Matt sounded exhausted, “What are you doing here?”

“Looking for you!” Courtney was surprised, “How’d you get out?”

“I didn’t. They let me out. I was looking for you but you weren’t on the work dock.”

“Oh. Well, I have a plan to get us out of here. We need to,”

Matt cut her off. He kissed her on the lips. It was all he could think to do to show how much he loved her. He loved her for who she was on nothing else. He did not even remember how he knew what love was. One of the older kids must have told him when he was younger.

Courtney felt like she could fly. It was just a brief second, but it felt like ages before she could breathe. She could hardly recall what she had been saying. When she could breathe again she finished, “climb the fence.”

Matt looked into her eyes with love and compassion, “So what’s your plan?”

Courtney told Matt everything up to going to the police. He did not like the idea anymore than she did but he was going to have her back no matter what.

“Look Matt, I got 15 lashes three days ago. I can’t take it anymore. I have to get out of here,” Courtney finished.

“So when are we going to follow through with this plan?” Matt asked business like.

“How about now.” Mistake number one, “It’s the perfect time. They’d never expect it. Especially from me.”

“Sounds good to me. Let’s go.”

Courtney was so excited. She knew they could make it. They were alone and ready to make the dash of their lives. They knew the risks. If this did not go right they would be taken separately and forced to live a life of beating, starvation, and torture for the rest of their long drawn out lives.

They walked hand in hand onto the working dock. They stopped in front of the towering doors that led out front. Leaning into each other they kissed. With springy free legs and grins on their faces they dashed through the doors. A loud, terrible ringing sounded in their ears as alarms sounded.

Courtney looked over her shoulder to see Daron and his posse of guards running after them. Mistake number two. Her legs tangled together and she fell on her face. Matt pulled her to her feet and they shot off.

The fence towered over them like a skyscraper. Matt lounged at it and began to climb. Courtney followed close on his tail. When they neared the top Matt put his hand on the fourth to last wire. Mistake number three. The electric volts shot through his body.

Courtney stopped climbing as the fence began to shake rapidly. Suddenly, Matt fell to the ground. Courtney jumped down not caring how she landed. She looked into his eyes. They were smoky, but he could still see her blurry figure. Tears began to stream don her cheeks as she saw his head ooze.

“No!” Courtney breathed, “I’m so sorry Matt.”

Her heart felt ripped. It was just a bloody organ, but she felt it was disappearing as she looked into Matt’s eyes. Some part of her that was vitally needed was gone. She felt as if she was nothing, as if she could not live. At least, not the way she had lived. Without him she was a lilac with no root, a book with no pages and a singer without a voice. She was nothing.

Courtney crouched beside him to check his pulse. Nothing. She shook him and hit him to try and wake him. Nothing. He was still warm, to warm. The electric volts that had passed through his body had fried him. Courtney wailed.

She had failed him. Matt was gone and there was nothing she could do. He had died in this horrible place. He never had a chance. The freedom he had so longed for had not been found. At least not in life. It was her fault. She had made him came with her. Made him clime that stupid fence. He had trusted her.

Daron had made his way through the group of kids and guards towards Courtney. He looked at her then at Matt, to the fence and back to Courtney. “Look at what you’ve done Courtney. I know this was your idea, and because you’re too stupid to think Matt is dead! Oh well.”

Courtney looked at him disbelief. Was Matt just another animal? Did Daron even care about any one? Were they all just worthless bugs?

“He wasn’t my hardest worker. I’m just glad it wasn’t you. I need you, were as Matt, Matt was worthless to me. He was dirt Courtney! I thought you were gold, but I guess you’re not. You’re lower than dirt! You killed him. Remember? Not me,” Daron lectured as he pointed to her, Matt and himself, “It wasn’t my idea to climb that fence, now was it? No Courtney! It was yours!”

No Courtney, it was yours!”

Daron put everyone back to work and left Courtney to there to weep. Her heart no longer wanted freedom, but Matt. She tried CPR, but it was too late.

“If a doctor can do it after an hour why can’t I after only a few minutes?” Courtney screamed to the sky, “one, two, three,” kiss, “one, two, three,” kiss.

She tried a dozen times before she realized it was no use. She gave up. She wasn’t a professional. She couldn‘t get a professional and no one would help her. They called her trader and said, we told you so.

Courtney threw her head back and cried to the sky. Her long, black, matted hair clung to the sides of her face. Her eyes sodden red, she bled internally, “Why’d you take him away? Why? He doesn’t deserve to die! Please? Please bring him back! Why didn’t you take me instead? You should have taken me! It was my stupid plan!”

She fell over him crying. She knew he could never come back. She lay there, hoping, that he would understand. She whispered over and over, I’m so sorry, until a guard came and took her to her room.

Courtney no longer thought of it as a room, but a jail cell. A place were she should stay for the rest of her life. Stay there as a punishment for Matt’s death. It was a life sentence, for murder.

That hole day and night Courtney grieved. She did not go to the factory or to any meals. When she was supposed to be at dinner Daron came and too her to the wholes. She did not fight, for she did not care weather she lived or died. There where not only old bones, but Matt’s body as well. Right away she became sick of the stench and vomited.

Daron laughed and launched a shovel at her, “You killed him, you bury him.”

Courtney knew she had to burry him or he would end up like the others, rotted and stomach churning. She dug and dug, each shovel full with pain and anger. She lay him face up, straight, and closed his eyes. She crossed his arms over his chest and threw the first handful of dirt in as she said a prayer. She wanted him to have the most proper funeral as possible. Then she used the shovel to finish her painful job. About three hours later Daron came and put her on a double shift.

“Basically, a hole day of work has been lost, Courtney,” Daron scowled.

Courtney went out onto the work floor and began. Kids were shaking their heads. They hated her. They thought she had done it purposely.

WACK!

Suddenly a water jug hit her in the head. Several more followed along with snide comments such as, “How dare you, what’s wrong with you, all you wanted was a day off,” and, “You’re heartless!”

Courtney was waiting for Matt to come and save her, and then suddenly she remembered he could not. She ran to her station. Her eyes widened as for what she saw was unbelievable. Matt was there working. He turned and smiled. Courtney ran to him and hugged him, but he did not hug back.

This is impossible! You’re dead! You died yesterday, on the fence!” Courtney was amazed.

“Uh, we decided we weren’t doing the escape until tonight,” Matt whispered confused, “and you shouldn’t fall asleep on the job. You’re lucky it’s just us two around.”

Courtney stopped hugging Matt. It had all been a dream. He was never dead. Did this mean he was going to die if they tried to run. She couldn’t be sure, but she wasn’t going to take any chances. Having her heart ripped out again would be unbearable.

“You’re not dead,” Courtney sighed, “Oh Matt, we can’t climb that fence,”

Matt interrupted her, “Not so loud. Do you want us to get caught?”

“Sorry,” Courtney whispered, “but the fence is electric. We’ll die.”

“What?”

“You have to listen to me Matt. I had this dream and, and,” Courtney stopped and looked down at her feet.

“What? Courtney, tell me?” Matt pleaded.

“You died. If it would really have happened, I don’t know what I would have done.”

They talked and argued over plans. One would come up with a plan but it would quickly be excluded by the other.

“We could use rubber or wood on our hand and feet. Electric volts don’t go through those kinds of things,” Matt tried to be convincing.

“No!” Courtney quickly objected, “We are not going to clime that fence unless the electric volts are gone!”

“What, so you want to blow the power or something!” Matt said angrily.

“Yes, that’s it! We’ll blow the power! Matt you’re a genius!”

First Do No Harm When Choosing Skincare Treatments

Whether you are looking for a skincare treatment that helps to heal dermatitis or reduce wrinkles, there are certain things to consider. Read this article to learn about those things.

The first thing you should consider is derived from the Hippocratic Oath. Do no harm.

It seems as if members of the mainstream medical community, particularly the pharmaceutical companies, have ignored that part of the oath in recent years. Their motto seems to be something different.

The use of any drug is accompanied by side effects. In some cases, the risks of side effects may be worth taking. For example, a person in severe pain is usually willing to risk liver damage in order to get some relief.

In other cases, risk-taking is unnecessary. Caring for the skin’s health and appearance can be accomplished without risking unwanted side effects or adverse reactions.

Let’s look at dermatitis as an example. There are many types of dermatitis. It is a broad term used to describe any inflammation of the skin, whether minor or severe.

Allergy-related contact dermatitis is very common. The symptoms include redness, burning, hives and rashes. The main skincare treatment for allergy-related contact dermatitis is to avoid the allergen or allergens.

Identifying a single specific allergen can be difficult if not impossible. A good solution is to avoid products that contain allergens. You can tell by looking at the warning labels.

Warning labels may include advice about contacting a poison control center or discontinuing use if irritation develops or worsens. Those warnings indicate that the product contains allergens, toxins or irritants.

You cannot assume that a product is safe, just because it is found on the shelves of a grocery or department store. A company that makes a skincare treatment is not required to test it for safety before releasing it to the public.

It makes sense to consider the safety of available treatments, regardless of what condition you are trying to treat. It makes sense, because some of the most effective treatments are also the safest.

Functional Keratin is an example of a compound that is effective for reducing inflammation and improving the skin’s firmness. It is the same basic protein that makes up the cells of the skin’s outer layers. So, there are no risks associated with its use.

Coenzyme Q10 is an ingredient that is effective for reducing wrinkles and reversing sun damage. It is naturally present in all of the body’s cells. So once again, there is no risk of adverse reaction.

A skincare treatment containing artificial preservatives is likely to cause an allergic reaction. Including a preservative in moisturizers, lotions, cleansers and other skin care products is necessary to prevent excessive bacterial growth that could cause pimples or infections. But, natural vitamin E is an effective preservative and is non-allergenic.

Basically, the main thing to consider is your skin’s health. If you do that, you can find a safe and effective skincare treatment for any condition. If you do not consider your skin’s health, you could make your problems worse.
